GLAMPING, Agdz, Morocco Bab el Oued Oasis Ecolodge, Moroccan Travel Draa Valley Farm Life

- Tanmougalt Morocco, outside of Agdz, we explore Moroccan ecolodge Bab el Oued Maroc Oasis Guesthouse. A beautiful property nestled next to the Draa river. Date palms grow in this traditional oasis along side medicinal plants and other food crops.
Agdz is famous for it’s dates and the palms of Bab el Oued deliver dates for human consumptions as well as for animals. I try a date that was destined for the animals, I could not help myself but to try a fresh baked date. We explore glamping near Zagora, in which people can relax in an oasis garden for a few days. I learn of a date stuffed gourd recipe which is popular in the kasbah here in Morocco.
We explore the ecolodge to see how everything is connected, the bees, flowers, and the crop rotation. The beans for bissarra are currently growing now to fix the nitrogen in the soil. The beans are rotated with corn and wheat as well. These main crops are used to feed the animals as well as the humans. I try to eat a baby carrot, but it is more of an embryo carrot.
We explore some of the rooms of Bab el Oued and perform some acro yoga, as Bab El Oued would be a beautiful place for a yoga retreat. At the end we see Jebli again as he is with Puma playing with a feather. Our Morocco travel adventures are to be continued, so be sure to subscribe, comment, and like!
Bab el Oued has been recognized with rewards for responsible and sustainable tourism as well as receiving a Green Key label certification for it's efforts. It is located in the Unesco reserve area of the Draa Valley on the road between Ouarzazate and Zagora. It is a luxury ecolodge that offers glamping as well as beautiful guest houses surrounding a pool. The food is farm to table and it combines Moroccan traditional dishes with some creme fresh inspired French cuisine. Mathilde, our host, and her husband combine there knowledge to create something magical. Working with traditional methods and modern knowledge, Bab al Oued is a Garden of Eden nestled in the Draa Valley Palm Oasis.

I've just got an information saying that the majhool dates that grows in California are originally from Boudnib Morocco. They took 7 branches to try and managed to have a good harvest in that climate. It took place in the 20's of that last century...

Very nice place to be. Very thoughtful project and peace of mind in surroundings . To live there I guarantee is healing the soul to always have a healthy life. If you happen to carry on your journey towards north through kelaat m'gouna, then while in Kelaat Mgouna town , feel free to pay a visit to a place called Dar Timitar on mgouna vallee road in about 8 miles from kelaat mgouna center. You might like the atmosphere out there. This is just a suggestion. Let's see you filming from there,too. Enjoy
