Finally caught up with the whole series, crazy how there has been only one franchise potential guy lmao
And with the last 2 drafts being set to high on both draft settings! Would be cool to see 3 franchise guys show up. Most I've ever seen in a draft is 2. And thanks for watching bub!
The prospect development has always been too linear in GM mode. The prospects drafted later in the draft always start too low and develop too slowly to be anything more than depth players by the time they stop developing. If they don't get a large increase or two before they are 21 they never develop into NHL players. You never get fast developing low ceiling players, or slow developing high ceiling players.
Would be cool to have coaches play a bigger role in influencing players. Some help young ones grow, others keep older players better longer, and other gives boosts elsewhere. Add player season goals where if they hit a milestone they get a bump. Just a couple quick off the top of my head ideas to make it make more sense.
The ratio is pretty realistic honestly, it should be rare to find someone nhl ready in any round past the 2nd-3rd. Reality is most people drafted don’t make it to the league

Wtf, did he come from the “Rest of World” region? Back in NHL 14 guys use to generate from there often, but I haven’t seen one since the move to next gen. Even saw people say EA broke it yrs ago and ROW players don’t generate
Yes he did! He's the first I've seen generated so far in this sim! I'm surprised they even put the North Korean flag in the game lol
@@MattWic it’s been there forever, NHL 14 generated a lot of them but they almost never had NHL potential
