I’ve been on the Reddit all day so confused why people were struggling with these so much. Now I know boneworks just had people used to a different system 😂
I played boneworks too and this was such a simple thing to learn on the spot, it literally has arrows showing you what to do!

i accidentally discovered this and i’m thankful because it would not have been fun to carry them around forever
lol I was messing around with a capsule and accidentally pulled it appart, and I was like “oh shit”
I threw them at bad guys😅
Wish I knew this while I was playing through the main game but now I have to backtrack through every level.

I love it when he's in the elevator and he carrying all his stuff in a trash can especially the way his hands look when he is carrying it, I just love it and it's so innocent idk I'm just love stuff like that

Avatars are unlocked at like level 6 and you can't not find the ball, but there are hidden avatars of like ford, null, and jimmy in hub

I searched for every bin for a thing cause I felt there would be a thing in there and I finally found one in chapter 5 or 6
When your in the first level and you see the statue that shows you your inventory, it would be nice if they added a capsule statue where it shows you how to claim them
It took me an obnoxious amount of time to figure this out during my first playthrough.
I was on that Street Fighter level for like an extra 15 to 20 minutes because I didn't know how to claim that orb at the end. I had to look it up lol
Same here, but it's better that you can unlock them without using inventory space
I personally kept on imagining pulling apart a pokeball with pikachu inside it each time i find these

Yes, but it wasn’t added immediately after it came out due to them not thinking that people would do this.
I was twisting them and pulling them apart and they wouldn't open so I basically missed them until I got to the bone lab
First time I played I remember finding them thinking their decorations because I haven’t played homework’s yet, so I left them, until I realized what they were and how to open them on street puncher
wish I knew this before I chucked them at the wall and moved on 😬

You can also crack them like an egg (or hit a homerun with them 😂)

This is why bonelab is so great you can grab a trashcan put stuff inside and carry it with you for no reason but just because.
This game needs multiplayer it will be the most sold vr game of all time if it did this

I didn’t find this out until you unlocked the first avatar. I’d literally picked them up, stare at them intensely thinking that’s how you unlocked and yeeted it across the map.
you can also throw them on the ground and they break open
It should’ve said on descent that you should pull them apart once you grabbed the first one.

If they ever make a quest port of boneworks or come back to it for qol changes I hope this gets added

BRO I DIDNT GRAB ANY OF THEM UNTIL THE STREET PUNCHER LEVEL WHERE YOU HAD TO DO IT AND I DIDNT KNOW YOU HAD TO SO I HAD TO WATCH A TUTORIAL
I found so many cool characters and items in my playtrough and i didn’t even know how to get them until i was at the 10th level
There is literally 5 signs everywhere telling you how to use them 💀
I did the e scat same thing. Lucky me when I was about to go down the elevator I dropped one and grabbed it with two hands and it opened
It also took me so long to understand on how to claim them
Thank goodness I was so tired of carrying collectibles in my inventory
I had no idea what these were. Then figured out how to open them like halfway through the game
I didnt know what to do with them at first and when i got to hub i realized what to do and now i need to return to the levels
I did literally exactly what you did with the bin and I had the crowbar too
I’m not a big fan of having to unlock all of these just to get the items. I wish there was an easier way.
IT TOOK ME FOREVER TO FIGURE IT OUT TOO! I was trying to put them in my inventory and looking for the reclamation bins the whole time
Am I the only person that thought it was obvious to open the capsule with your hands? They remind me of those little capsule toys you get in little machines in restaurants
Dude, I struggled with the same thing. I did street puncher like 4 times thinking I did something wrong or that I had to take the big capsule back, but no, I just had to pull it apart.
Now i know i wasted 5 hours to find those capsules in boneworks and put them in the reciclying thing like the one with blue lasers
That was trippy as when I found out I’m like why does it have arrows coming off of it

Took me until I got to the “avatar” levels to figure that out
it took me until one of the last levels before i accidentally pulled one apart because of a tracking glitch i was devastated
people say this is a bad thing, it sure as hell is better than carrying it around with you and putting it in some blue.. grid.. thing
When I first tried bone lab and I found one in the orange locker and did not know what to do with it until I saw a video on bonelab

Yeah I really wish they told you this cause I did the same thing, but thankfully if you enable dev mode in the mod settings (I think you can only do it on the main menu tho I could be wrong) you can go back through older levels and get any capsules you missed.
I remember carrying the capsule on me and going to the end and then i got a flashback of the trailer and remembered how to collect stuff
I used different ways to open it cause I didn’t know how but now I do
Lmao I thought you had to throw them at the ground like pokeballs
One tip is if you don’t have a level where there’s a lot of shooting there should be a trash bin and laid those are your best friends use the lid for a gun fire and the actual trashcan to just knock people out the way
Or you can throw them, that breaks them open and is much faster when you have a large amount of them
Bro I figured this out when I got to the strong guy level and finished that, after 5 to 7 min finally figured out u have to pull them apart
For me at first I thought I had to shake it, and then I tried twisting it, eventually I got it right.
