Sorry.. But samples of analog synths is just so early 90's. Love IK stuff, Amplitube is amazing... but boy , do they need to get some good coders and start software modeling of synths
2 instruments alone like the obxa and JX have free emulations... And they farrrking good... So theres a saving of $100 euro already if purchased individually.
Just saying theres way better options to spend (or not spend) your money.
You can get vst plugin for the SCI Prophets. The one for the model 600 is called the P600 II. I still own an original and to my ears it sound dam close. Also available is the Prophanity which is modelled after the Prophet 5. This needs to be checked out as I've never played one.
heavily disagree. modeling never ever hits the mark for me. would take a sampled instrument any day

Ive given some examples.. ones not even "Modeled" just code like a rompler, without samples......
What would be you're 1st comparison that comes into your head?
To be clear, Im Not saying ROMPLERS with synth engines aren't good.. Im specifically talking about whether emulating, modelling, Or Rompling to actually COPY the synths sound, there can be certain issues that create an argument...
Im not talking about your choices and what's works... Whatever Works , Works...
Just Like your choicer of DAW ect...
Everything can be argued as to whats better, but thats not what im suggesting...
The reason im responding is depending on your reasoning (examples ) as to why? I may just agreed, but at the same time may give you a different perspective that you may find helpful..
