    Thanks for demonstrating. I always thought that would be the go to move if you had to go up flights of stairs, or even one as it too awkwardly heavy to carry up a narrow staircase.

    I've seen numerous ways, from a jury rigged strap that goes over the shoulder anchoring it to the bottom bracket of the frame to this. This way seemed to work best. 14 steps is still a bit of a challenge

      Oh the irony. Going up is easier than going down stairs with a heavy e-bike. That would be much more dangerous, and straining for sure.

      Do you have any issues taking it downstairs? Now I'm assuming its harder carrying it downstairs than upstairs ?

  • @sbsk2526
    @sbsk2526 8 місяців тому +2

    Thanks for this! But now how do you bring it downstairs? Because an e-bike is heavy is there a certain way you hold it, and Do you keep pressing the brakes at each step? I want to buy an e-bike but I have to carry up & down a flight of stairs and just hope its manageable.

I will put it together today. Sure hope it has walk asst Like your bike does. I'm sure it does?!. This video helped me ALOT. My bike weighs 70 pds. Do you think I'll be able to do it this? TY 🌻

      You need to enable it in the settings menu. I think it is p21 0 is off 1 is on. It ships disabled by default. If you download the manual from lectric it will list which menu option it is, but it comes disabled. I had to do the same.

      I have the lectric 2.0 and I can't do this on my stair either, my stairs are too steep so it has to be carried which sucks, hurt my back last time I picked it up solo lol, now I have one of my kids help with the lift lol. I wish there is a tutorial for a make shift ramp that I can deploy on a whim then I would be able to take my bike out more
