Ghazni didn't attack South or even central India. Both ghazni and Raja Raja chola knew about each other because they had spy network but Ghazni simply attacked and ran away but never came close to cholas. Many Rajput kings defeated him and his nephew, that's why he came 17 times

I am not being a seperatist but calling everyone in modern india as indians in the past also does not make sense. Each state in Inida have theor own culture heritage and history and they have their right to be proud of it by reffering to their ethnic identity without using the word Indian. Afterall india encloses all the ethnic groups who have their own history and there is nothing wrong with being proud of it by refering to their history by their own ethic identity. I am pretty sure the Cholas were identified as cholas and not Tamils or Indians or bharatians in the past buy the east Asians.

no, in case of India and South East Asia it was not invasion through which culture changed .it was the soft power of India through the help of traders. Traders from Vanga(Bengal) , Tamil Nadu, Kalinga ( Odisha) ,Kerala has influenced the Most. Military invasion by cholas took place only in 11th century AD.
But the presence of Indian Culture in South East Asia was from 1st Century AD. Even Word Sri Vijaya is an Indian term. And ironically Rajendra Chola attacked Sri Vijaya kingdom of Indonesia who were already buddhist and was ruling for ages.
Both Hindu and Buddhist indianization took place in South East Asia was in return of Trade that took place but not due to invasion. Invasion was done by Rajendra Chola to take the Control of trade routes not to spread any religion ( as South East India was already indianized then)

The reality is that this guy is afraid to speak the truth about what happened because of India's colonial past even though at the time he is referring to Britain was under French (Norman occupation). The same Normans whose nobles traced their heritage back to Viking invaders of the French coast. The history of human kind is that the strong conquer the weak. Pre Indian srates were no different and to pretend otherwuse is to deny history.

Yes military conquest happens but it doesn't end up destroying other cultures.
@@blackpigeon4743 Central Asians adapted to their local culture in order to appease the local population and maintain control, we see the Mongols do this too, the ones in the middle east became Muslim, the ones in China became Buddhist, some in the original homeland stayed Tengriist.
