Disclaimer that this is not, in fact, what real Elden Ring invasions look like. Steel's a high tier invader, but when you're a part time casual invader like myself and a lot of others, you can't withstand the same amount of dumb design/cheese Steel can. It's worse.
just get out of 150 and 200 range, for example at RL 242 you can be invaded by RL 201-269 and can invade 217-286, it's a much more relaxed experience, people at that level are not pvp oriented players, they are just gonna keep leveling up as much as possible they care more about fashion than minmax, and for people that think there is no one playing in that bracket, you've been lied to, I can find games all the time
@@Kimzao86 dude... above 200 you enter 1 shot city. above 200 you either meet coordinated ganks or people who are dumb as a brick. Even if there are people there is just no point. 150 is already pushing it.
@@zwidowca1 I know this is anecdotal but that's not the experience I'm having, I invade all the time and from what I can see they are not gankers at all, they are just casual players playing through the game, most people at that level have terrible builds and are mostly just using what they think it's cool, and they are way less sweaty thatn RL 150 players.
@@Kimzao86 you missed half of my point. There is no reason to play aginst these shitty builds, because that does not help you get better. Furthermore with 200 levels even a shitty build can blender you by accident. You clearly have not given this much thought.
Thank you, this is almost exactly what i asked for in a different video a few days ago, only missing comentary over which actions youre doing, thank you Mr. Stool.
Thrusting sword has great chase down with that running lunge R1(?), and Bloody Helice Ash gives more I-frames than light roll and covers more distance. how that shit never got nerfed is beyond me.
I dont think steel played a lot of ds3 but it would be fun to see him do like one stream or at least part of a stream in ds3 enough for like one video.
1:15 A lot of the time PvE his you because you are behind the player, who is running away. You and the mob chase the player, but the mob has more speed and larger range. The mob is dumb (thanks michal zaki) and begins attacking as soon as the host is in their range, instead of overshooting. They fall short of the player because by the time they swing the player is out of range. However you are a step behind the player and still in range. Bonk. This, coupled with the insane size and coverage of hitboxes leads to the invader getting incidentally smack around a lot That said, I've seen enough to think that the mob's AI isn't perfect. They will occasionally target the invader. Methinks, as a programmer, this is because, in the code, the invader is still a player with an "invader" flag. When loading in or, importantly, **when the AI switches targets**, it has a conditional to check for any nearby targets and then checks them for that invader flag. In the speed, chaos, and heavy computation of a battle, that invader check might not get reached by the time the enemy starts attacking. Especially in an area with frame drops, signifying the PC's difficulty under the high load. This might naturally happen if, say, the host runs out of the enemy's range, forcing a retarget, while the mob has just started attacking. Notice the overlap with the above. The solution, I think, is when fighting with an enemy that can damage you: don't play with your back to the foe. Try to approach from a different direction.
If you didn't know, rolling early is also a good practice in order to get more advantage. This would help your problem here. You have to just know if they are gonna attack.
Try a different level, perhaps without unlimited supplies that are supposed to be limited, and 5 of every weapon that requires 5 playthroughs..:minimum to obtain, all with different ashes. Just a suggestion.

14:42 RKR works only for one hit, hitting multiple players is a multihit so dmg bonus was used after the first hit connected, works as intended
Peak video gaming, thank you Mr. Zaki.
Miyazaki-chan should stop playing around with Elden Rong PvP and just give Us Chainsaw Party already.

Brother, are you telling me the other ones were fake?
yes everyone in every video before this was a paid actor.
my condolences to anyone who mistook him for a DS3-guy
moan all you like but,
Steel is actually a "peak souls 2"-guy
Last kill was clean af. You even calculated the lag, and parried before he pressed L2, so don't mald Steel, you made me smile. 😃
Hello Steel, how many people do you think still play PVP? I have the feeling that I always play against the same people, especially on seamles.

I find it a little hard to dodge Great katana rolling r1, seems like it hits early.
Roll to the side
@@Scholarofgold It seems like i don't have a chance to roll, i'm hit before I can react :( Skill issue I reckon.
