I did my first time through last night, took me 4 hours. Awesome game, and while I'm not one for speed running, I got hooked enough on re2 on n64 to get that whole game down to a science and could go through all 4 campaigns in an afternoon. I think I'll definitely have that same itch with this one for sure

Aiming with the mouse is so much more accurate and faster than with a controller. Definitely the way to play. I am on my second run of the game, first with mouse/keyboard, and it's made a big difference.
a lot of people talk bad about re3 but i like it a lot, even though it's short i'll still love this work of art, i love resident evil
It certainly has its highlights. I just hate the story and the way Jill behaves… it just comes off cheesy.

I was following the end bit of this to get the under 2 hours achievement and goddamn Nemesis just said nah and glitched out on the acid part.
Why does he keep the camera looking down? Does it break enemy AI? Or make you move faster?
He do it cause he can see when the nemesis attack him

Did not know the clock pauses whenever theyre on the radio with eachother. I always skipped that part because i thought it was slowing me down from a faster time.

Over a entire run doing the speedboost at every stair, how much time is saved?
Speedboost at every stair? If you're referring to stair skipping/aim buffering, it saves a fair chunk of time, somewhere in the 2 minute mark i think. Bear in mind though, this is only from my personal testing, and my pb is 1.05.58 (ironically exactly 1 min slowly than my re2 pb lol)
you cant do every stair, although im sure you knew that already.
but if you time it correctly at every single opportunity, even two stair & three stair sets, and get the full boost with zero fuck ups, you'd save a little above 2 minutes from what i could find in game.
for reference my personal best is 54:37 Any%NG+ NO ROCKET LAUNCHER (would be 71st on speedrun site)
but that was with MANY MANY fuck ups along with way.
My god... its a lot, i though it saves couple seconds...
im pretty sure, actually positive, that its more than a cpl minutes for the entire run. i immediately cut almost 4 minutes off my pb (dropped it from 1h5m to 1h1m) the very first time i tried it, so i would assume there was room for improcement there. i couldt believe the difference it made.
I was almost proud.. I came back here to see if you clipped through the door at the beginning, with the last door with Carlos. I clipped through it while aiming at his head for fun and was automatically pushed through the door. Would've been great to contribute a 0.2 time save. If only you didn't save a Bible worth more during the whole sequence.. 😅

How do you stair skating on pc?
Just spam the aiming, well not spam but the point is to reset the little run animation that your character does after they lower their gun. So just run up/down stairs and click right mouse button for a split second, then wait for like 0.25 seconds then do it again

If you miss/don’t get them them earlier they appear in that room. Its to make sure you’re not skrewed when it comes to bosses. I think they appear in the safe room before each boss if you don’t have them.

I finished my first run in this game yesterday with 35 saves and i died over 20 times xD 7 Hours run :D
The fact that the game is more cutscenes than gameplay is still funny to me
Ikr i just finished playing it and like in the beginning you grt cutscenes then run for 30 secoonds then another cutscene

@@sus-el8li yeah, interesting fact, the original re3 was supposed to be a side game while they were making the next one, but I think they just liked nemesis so much that they made it as a sequel. I really do think that re3 remake should've been dlc.
@@snipes6236 it wasn’t that they liked nemesis so much truth was they had a deal with Sony to release a trilogy for PlayStation so they made nemesis into resi 3 because they wanted the real resi 3 (code Veronica) to use the power of the Dreamcast

I don't do Speedruns. I did complete Resident Evil 3make in under 3 hours on my first playthrough. But that's because the game is ridiculously short & waaaaaay too easy to beat. Capcom should be ashamed of themselves. To this day RE3make is the only Resident Evil game I have only played through once. It has ZERO replay value whatsoever
