It will not because the government of the Philippines already experienced it on the Island of Boracay. With too much tourism happening it became polluted so the President ordered to close Boracay for 6 months to renovate it. So now they are controlling how many tourists a day should be on the Island. So it won't be overpopulated. And by developing these newly discovered tourist spots like Siargao, will be the key to decongesting other popular tourist spot around the country.

Hey, do you have any more information on how the situation is at the moment? And now during COVID people still have to wear a mask everywhere except for the beach? Thanks a lot!
For those of you arguing below, honestly there are hundreds of islands like Siargao regardless in the Philippines or Indonesia. Any remote islands with hardly any tourists in both countries clearly has the nicest beaches and natural appeal, see Borneo, Sulawesi, Raja Ampat etc. People come to Bali for the culture, party and luxury resorts, which Siargao doesn't offer. Siargao is Siargao and Bali is Bali.

Nice video, but it seems there's only Beach there, if you want to compare it with Bali hope you could show other attraction available there too, since Bali is not only about beach and scenery..it's complete package from surfing and sun bathing along various beach, hiking on mount batur, strolling and relaxing on tegalalang paddy field, enjoying countles waterfall, experiencing local culture, music and food, all available in one island alone
When you go for the tri-island tour, you request for am add'l two islands where you go for a hike & lunch on the side of the beach. The main island is for motor bikes, bikes & walking though there are some locations not well-visited for a hike. It's not for sun-bathing although you can with some resorts but Siargao is a tear-drop island meant to circumnavigate. So bring some cash coz it will need some vehicle transfers here & there since it has tiny islets. You don't feel like it's a jungle, instead, the bluest sea. Plus the mountains have that eerie, mysterious feel like the Sugba Lagoon.

I love this video. There's no internet connection (or there's slow internet) in Siargao for you to take a break with your social medias and live in the moment. That's not really a disadvantage. It's good if you want to have some peaceful time and do some soul-searching haha.

Siargao is better than Bali now. I used to go to Bali every year, some times 3 times a year! It has now been wrecked, I hope Philippines can learn from the mistakes of Bali and not over develop/ build concrete over the green rice fields like they did in Bali…
More and more people now realized. Siargao doesn't has what it need to be the "less crowded version of Bali" as a surf destination, which is good quantity and quality of reliable and consistent waves, not lives up to the hype. More people now going to Lombok for long boarding and to the mentawais, banyaks, telos, krui and Nias for high performance waves. Even your ikit agudo take the job as a surf instructor for long board retreats in Lombok, hahah. This September she will surf tanjung aan, gerupuk and ekas. Hope she used proper work permit and visa to do so, everyone with good intentions is welcomed in Indo.😊
@@chrisk7118Haha,,surfing waves is more geographical facts than opinions. Every spots has their characteristics, swells and size history recorded by surf forecasting web etc. The best you can get is circa 60% of consistency, which means surfable only in 60% of times in a year, with expected maximum size just overhead. Those in Bali have consistency 90+% even 99% for some in Uluwatu with max size recorded at 20+ ft. Overhyped, hahha.
Nothing will match the culture of Bali. There are so many places like Bali all around the world but its people and culture is what made it so successful.

Christian oh you're Lost now! Why did you come into my life very late? You are such an inspiration and because of you! I am motivated to follow your path! Wish me luck!!!
Bali is the best of the best
Siargao was hit by typhoon and it's now recovering so fast. I hope you can visit again and compare the changes from your last visit. There's a lot of changes in Siargao.
Thank you for inspiring me, thank to you , I have a motivation to make my video about Vietnam where i am living, vlog etc. 🤩🤩🤩
Hey !!! I'm Michael yes do it! All the best to you 😊

Nice video! Thank you for sharing. Hoping to go there one day!!!
Siargao is beautiful but how you present it is far more beautiful! I love the cinematography and your editing is superb!
Much love from India explaining of place & camera quality is really appreciated
I love this video. There's no internet connection (or there's slow internet) in Siargao for you to take a break with your social medias and live in the moment. That's not really a disadvantage. It's good if you want to have some peaceful time and do some soul-searching haha.

Went to the Philippines for the first time right before Covid! The islands were soooo amazing!
The Majestic _Siargao~🌴_
Welcome Back! *Again!!*
Safe Travels As Always!
just cezamarie Hello from SINGAPORE 🇸🇬 😊
@@intheworldofmari Oh Hi there! 🤗🇵🇭
Love it.
This video shows that Bali has become a benchmark for classy world tourism
@@simplyyank1119 Wrong. You are a weirdo 😅
@@simplyyank1119 Why are people not allowed to have an opinion that Siargao is better than Bali? Are you the gatekeeper of Bali tourism? 😅
@@simplyyank1119 Once you accept that Siargao is better you won’t have to stalk all Siargao videos to try and promote Indonesia 😅
Amazing place and a very informative video! Great job on the vlog 👍
“I’m not gonna sugar coat it, I will coconut cover it though” 🤦🏽♂️😂😂
😂
just discovered this channel and I am enjoying it
it looks amazing we hope to go soon
Nothing will match the culture of Bali. There are so many places like Bali all around the world but its people and culture is what made it so successful.
this was the first sponsored ad i stuck around to watch lmao good job

I am sure you have never been to "Raja Ampat" in Papua, Indonesia. If you like diving, the place is perfect 70% of the world's marine life is there
I really love vloggers who are bringing cameras even in their personal activities. Specially in their travel, it really feels like you're also unwinding with them and removing stress from the real world. Seeing places like Beaches are the most ANTI-STRESS PILL nowadays. So more more Travel Vlogs specially in the Philippines pleaseee... 😊😊😊
God bless and stay safe. ☺️❤️❤️❤️
