I have the big 3.25hp Triton. I really like it. The power switch cover gets a little fiddley. It does auto lock on the collet shaft when raised to do bit changes. It only requires a single wrench to change bits. It also comes with a nice height adjusting handle with a spinning handle that is great. Highly recommend this router in a table.

Thanks for the recommendation. I had the Triton 2.25hp thinking it would be great in a table. I quickly sold it. Just too gimmicky with the power switch safety device. I still prefer my old Freud FT 1700 which also has auto collet lock and above the table features. Sadly it's no longer made. Thanks for weighing in.

Hi, thanks for this video. Can it be mounted to the table 90 degrees off so the dust extraction and latch are on the left and right sides instead of front and rear?

You could likely manage something like that, so long as your router plate is drilled accordingly. Good idea.

My biggest complaint is the LED light that my Rigid router has. I need to buy nail polish to block it out.

Oh, ok. Haven't heard of many users who don't like the light. You must have it set up in a table. Thanks
