Salam girls, the reason why the Koran speaks about all the prophets from prophet Noah, Abraham, Jesus to the last one prophet Mohammed (peace be upon to all of them) because all these prophets were sent to people by God to convey one message which is to worship God(Allah) alone. However, God sent these prophets to specific groups of people at different times with different revelations that contained the same message which was the ones of Allah, in order for people not to worship idols or anything else which is the creation of Allah because only the creator of everything deserves to be worshipped. As he is the one brought everything to existence right. Anyway all other prophets were sent to different generations to pass that message to the people till the last prophet was sent which is prophet Mohammed(Peace be upon him) and he was sent down for humanity not for a group of people like the previous prophets. The reason being sent him as the last is because there will be no revelation that will come after prophet Muhammad, (peace be upon him), all we wait is a judgment (resurrection day) and everyone will return to their Lord the Almighty Allah. That is why Christianity and Islam are similar in a ways because Christianity was ones a revelation sent by God to the children of Israel, however it’s been manipulated, altered or changed over the years . But the difference in Islam and Christianity is that Christians take Jesus as God but Muslims believe him as a mighty prophet. We also believe he is the Messiah and that he will come back.
