Because of you and this video I purchased the 58mm!!! I am crazy for these lenses!! I'm trying to sneak in the 31mm without my wife seeing the cart on my Amazon page. I showed a friend the footage i shot on my camera and he thought it was Arri. Thanks for the video my friend. Gonna do a stealth purchase on the 31mm. Fingers crossed.

Beautifully made video. I'm in the market but need something 14mm / 18mm / 25mm - do you know if they are bring out wider angle lenses? Again, well done on the production of the video - I have the S5iix but no lenses other than the kit lens which is average at best.

What PL to L mount adapter do you use? I’ve heard some have issues with the S5ii and these lenses as well as generally being loose fitting or poorly built. I’d love to hear your thoughts on your current choice of adapter.

Usually i hear halation in reference to the red glow on film. In this context, are you referring to the bloom around the light sources? Would you say its similar to using a black mist filter on a clean lens?
To me yes almost feels like a 1/8 mist filter without losing any sharpness, but still feeling less digital? Hard to explain lol
I want these lenses even more now! Hope a wider length comes out soon.
Hopefully next year they add a 21mm. I think that's what I heard last

The 55mm f1.8 Super-Takumar flares with a rainbow loop exactly like that, and it goes away when you stop down to f2.

Solid work Dustin. Question, can I use these with my GH6? excellent review man. How do you think they compare to the Meike Cinema lens, Laowa Nanomorph, or the SLR, or the other budget cinematic lens
I'm not sure. If there's an adapter that exists to pl mount from m 4/3 then yes but I'm not sure there is? Never looked in to it. Personally I like these better. I also have the Athenas (review coming soon) and I prefer these for the weight
@@DustinArmstrongPro The Dulens lens come in EF Mount too. So I think we could use the Viltrox or the Metabones speed booster

Question...I heard that these DULENS might be hard to fit a follow focus system. Why do you think? Do you think they are too small? Which follow focus system do you use?
With all the gear that's available these days I don't see why it would be any harder or less hard than any other cine lenses
@@DustinArmstrongPro I heard from another reviews that because of it's size that it was an issue. If you have a chance, that might be a good topic for content and a video. Dulen's Cine lens on a gimbal with a wireless or regular follow focus.
If you watch this video at this part ua-cam.com/video/nDvH2rGEgQU/v-deo.htmlsi=DL-G2YPYbGVHIwRZ&t=360 I used the Dulens on the RS2 with a follow focus no problem. There's also a video coming soon where I compare them to the Athena's and used them in a film production environment and same thing, no issues with the follow focus. With those two I think it's fairly covered and more than likely won't do a dedicated video

Haven't used the Vespid so not sure. The Athenas I'm actually doing a comparison video this month against the Dulens

No filter or anything. That ghosting came after export didn't notice until now. Not sure why
