May Allah reward U young man...
I am literally procrastinating on doing my homework... while watching a video on overcoming procrastination... I am ridiculous.🙏
Salam Alaikom! No, u are not!! Get checked out by a pro to see if u have what I have. And yes the meds are like glasses so my brain can see. And no, you shall not feel ashamed, adhd is very real and stimulants (I am using Ritalin) actually helps. And we as muslims need to get awareness about adhd!! So I hope u are not feeling like I did as a kid/youth/young adult : different, and trying to hide it😢.
The meds helps, Alhamdulillah MashaAllah.
Salam from Norway
Our local imam got into this productivity mindset and listening to him in from my 17s to early 20s played a big part in me becoming clinically depressed and full of self blame for not being productive enough.
So it's good to be productive but don't turn it into Toxic Productivity like that imam did.
100000%. Productivity gurus often make you feel like you are wasting every minute of your life that you do not have scheduled. Or every minute of your life that doesn't go according to plan. In my experience, they often don't ever account for the fact that we are needed, that there are people who depend on us that might "get in the way" of our goals. But really, that's just what it means being part of a family, being part of a community. We shouldn't feel guilty for not being "productive" every single minute, and we shouldn't demonize leisure, family, or life circumstances. Those are the most important things in life anyway.
His book is great
Salam Alaikom!
Subhanallah, I just cannot help myself with saying that (and Allah forgive me if I am wrong) it looks to me like the brother has what I have. And yes (Alhamdulillah MashaAllah) the stimulant Ritalin actually helps. It is literally like the glasses of my brain. So I just had to share that it actually helps! And one more tip: take ur pill half hour before u get up and voila…❤❤ (and my brain is not like trying to nail jello on the wall anymore, and Astaghfirullah if I am pro’ing something that is not okay, but it literally got my brain to actually «see» clearly. And yes ur thoughts etc gets more organized, so things gets in order too. Just wanted to shed a lil light on adhd which our own docs needs to research a bit more on. Adhd is very real, and our brains are not wired like others, so plz study this u docs❤❤
Why not offer these services as a non-profit? Or in khutbas? Or through encouraging existing services like certified psychological counseling?
Most psychological counsels are non-Muslim. They will tell you to be weak and soft to solve you're problems. While it creates even more problems.
As I know khutbas are paid, where do you live, take off your pink sunglasses and get "dirty" ☮️
@@NedimTabakovic Khutbas are paid!? 😂shieee
Why is it such a difficult thing to pay a Muslim for their hard work?
@@KingKongHitDaBong Not saying not to pay him, just that Khutba is a religious event and is not performed for money.
Cmmon aren't we waiting for Mahdi 😶
I gotta say... theres something so icky about bringing the Productivity/self-help industry into the Muslim community. This advice is so useful, but to sell masterclasses like this feels wrong honestly. It feels like those people selling you "change your life in 3 days" seminar where they show you the secret sauce to life. This looks like the same but with Muslim rhetoric to appeal to that niche market.
Everything is just wrong to Muslims. Ahg🙄
Many of the current productivity gurus promote shirk like concepts like spiritual meditation and manifestation. I think tackling productivity from an Islamic lens is very much needed and Muhammad did a great job in his book.
@@KingKongHitDaBong Productivity gurus shouldn't be a real occupation, no matter what religion they profess. Focusing on how to produce more, how to achieve more, just reifies the conditions that put us into that mindset in the first place. It doesn't solve the issue of "why do I feel like I have to produce", "why do I feel it's wrong to take a break?" "where do these ideas come from? and who benefits?"
Christianity = 100 % Pure Nonsense
Jesus himself did not say l am God, despite this being the most important thing mankind needed to know to gain salvation
( I Guess Jesus was too busy with other more important matters like giving fishing lessons 🐟🐠🤦♂ )
Whatever you're saying I didn't understand properly but he's not Christian and we respect jesus more than christian!
