Cool vid, Doc😎 Sorry you missed out on -77. I'm from Norway, and my first was in Drammenshallen, Norway on the Unmasked Tour in 1980. I was very young then, and wasn't really aware of the downward spiral they were in. But it was AWSOME because Iron Maiden warmed up, and it was actually guitarist Dennis Stratton's last gig with them. And all the guys caked each other at the end of the show, being the last show of the european tour. Good times...🤘🤘

I been to 20+ Kiss concerts but the 2 best were both at Madison Square Garden on the Reunion tour and the Psycho Circus tour. I was in the 2nd and 4th rows for those concerts. I remember Kiss being awarded a gold record plaque for Psycho Circus and I remember Paul Stanley smiling for the rest of the concert after that. I have so many good memories of those concerts.

That's correct. I was there and a huge Travers fan. Only time I saw him on the "Hot Shot" tour.
The first time I saw KISS was the summer of 75 at WILDWOOD NJ.
I've been to more than 40 shows.
I saw Vinny with them at Radio City in NY. I've seen every tour since 75.
I've also been backstage to meet them 3 times..... all that being said I didnt go this time in Philadelphia.... I was disappointed when I saw the set list plus no Ace... Paul's voice.... fix prices.... I've seen vids on UA-cam I'm not going to lie I felt badly that I didnt go
But I've been very sick for the last 5 years I just decided to pass. But now I'm thinking I shouldve gone.

My first kiss show was in Toronto on March 20 2019. I’m 14 so that’s why. Anyway I got noticed by Paul and when I was in line for the merch, Someone gave me a guitar pick signed by Paul and the show was awesome! The place crowded and they played one of my favourite songs Do You Love Me and I got so sad after because that was my first and probably last time seeing them but I got a guitar pick, some streamers and confetti, a tour book, two shirts, one I preordered, another I bought on my way back to my hotel, and a beanie. Awesome concert I got to say and I would pay a lot to see them again. Talk about an awesome first kiss concert

My first time (& 1st concert ever !) was Aug. 26, 1977 for the Alive II recording at the Forum in LA. Cheap Trick opened. There was 3 fights in the crowd, so I assumed this is what it was like at every concert. I was 13.
Hey same concert for me! I was 14 and on vacation in the USA from the UK. What an incredible concert to be our first! Then I got the album for Christmas that year!

I started listening to KISS at 8 years old in 1980. I was collecting the albums from then on and really wanted to see the "Creatures Of The Night" tour since that was one of my favorite albums ever. My first show wasn't till the "Animalize" tour in Chicago though and then I started going every year till nowadays. I went a couple times in the 1980's, including the "Asylum" tour and Merrillville, Indiana on the "Crazy Nights" tour 1988 with Anthrax, then "Hot In The Shade" in 1990 at World Theater then two times on the "Revenge" era, once with Faster Pussycat and Slaughter (I wasn't a big fan of the openers, but that was the times) and once with someone else I can't recall, but both shows were my favorite without make up concerts, in the early 1990's, went to the KISS Convention Tour in Chicagoland in 1995, met Gene, Paul, Eric Singer, and Bruce Kulick, and saw the acoustic show. I had saved my $100 from my library job. Then after the reunion era started, between 1996-2000, I saw six shows, twice on each tour. I believe on a couple of them Ted Nugent opened. That was the most exciting period for me, though I loved every tour. The first show I ever saw on the 1996 reunion tour I was so excited, I freaked out!! It was at Rosemont Horizon. Then I went on that tour again, and like I said KISS came twice on "Psycho Circus" to Chicagoland too and I went to both, and twice on the Farewell Tour too. Then I saw the tour with Tommy Thayer on guitar and Peter Criss on drums with Aerosmith. Then once it became the current line up, I saw 17 shows all the way up to the most recent tour, and I loved every show. But out of those my favorite memories out of those, were "Alive 45" tour, "Sonic Boom" 2010, "Monster" 2012, "40 Years Decade Of Decibals tour 2014, and one of my all time favorites Chicago Open Air in 2017 in the 2nd row center since it was general admission! So me, my wife ans her sister went really early. Anthrax, Megadeth, Rob Zombie opened! Then I went on the most recent tour too. I loved it personally but after having just had 2nd row the year before... My total is 26 shows in all I believe. I am a KISS maniac. Great video Ralph..By the way I absolutely loved those first two W.A.S.P. albums too, but I still never saw W.A.S.P. I have every W.A.S.P. album ever in my collection too..KISS had a different opener in Chicago on the "Asylum" tour since something happened I recall so I still have never seen W.A.S.P. Similar story. Had a chance to see Dynasty with a friend and his parents. My parents wouldn’t let me go. Finally got to see them the first time on Lick it up with Vandenburg opening.
I only saw the Dynasty show in 79 in Houston TX. I was 15 . My first rock show ever too . Lol !

I first saw them in 1977 during Love Gun tour and I have seen them 26 times in total, but did skipped the EOTR tour, but that was due to financial reasons. I did get to see them with Vinnie in Phoenix during Creatures in 83 with Motley Crue opening. I do not have the memories you have due to a head trauma I suffered in a car accident in 84, I have some of the memories but not as vivid as you. Good video Ralph.

Doc you said it perfectly and you answered the question of why is there a "scab" KISS. From just about every account those last KISS shows with Ace and Peter were horrible and fans felt let down. Many have talked about the general atmosphere of the band was 4 guys who did not like one another. KISS is Paul and Gene's baby and they were done with Ace and Peter so they had the farewell tour. But they probably felt like a lot of KISS fans felt, "man this is how KISS is going to go out" , they did not want it going out like that so they brought in some new blood and revived the band. Truth be told, I think Paul and Gene were planning on replacing their characters about 8 years ago but just did not do it.
Anyway, I know my posts tests your ADHD so I will keep it short lol. I envy you man, you got to see so many shows with KISS as well as others, one day grandpa Doctor fuck will be telling his grandkids about all these shows and what REAL rock and roll was about!

First KISS show I bought ticket's for was Revenge in Memphis Tennessee before they built the Pyramid, we pulled into the parking lot and were informed that Paul Stanley had strep and KISS wouldn't be there and they told us we could go ahead and watch Great White and Trixter or go Monday to TicketMaster and get our money back; we stayed and watched the other two band's because we liked them and were glad we did they gave it everything they had that night to about 500 people. Sucks that Security wouldn't allow those who stayed to go down close to the stage to the empty seats but still an awesome show, Great White threw in Jailhouse Rock because it was Memphis; so not too disappointed. The second was the Reuinion Tour in Memphis at the Pyramid, great show; third and final was the Farewell Tour also at the Pyramid in Memphis.
Never got to see Kiss and with the ticket prices in Los Angeles it looks like I never will..
I've only seen KISS twice, I saw them on the Freedom To Rock Tour (2016), then I just saw them about 3 weeks ago on the End Of The Road Tour (2019) & it was the best out of two times I saw KISS.

I could've seen KISS back in '79 (Dynasty Tour, but my mom wouldn't let me go. I finally got to see them in '84, the Lick It Up Tour, but with Eric Carr and Vinny Vincent...great show!!
Honestly I can't wrap my head around seeing Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer wearing Ace and Peter's costume. With that being said the Farewell tour in 2000 was my last time seeing them. Far as the reunion tour that was awesome I saw them twice U.S air arena formally Capital Centre Largo, MD October,1996 and Baltimore Civic Center April,1997.

I saw them on Lick it Up in Corpus Christi, Tx in 84'. and they had Riot (a band from NY City) and Vandenberg opening. Both Eric Carr & Vinnie Vincent soloed that night and were AWESOME!! And they did do All Hell's Breakin' Loose.

Wow, you saw almost every tour with Eric Carr? That’s awesome. I wish I could have seen that legend live. I only saw KISS on the 40th anniversary tour in 2015. Although I did see Gene on his solo tour last year with Ace opening and doing the encore with him.
An older pal of mine saw the Crazy Nights show and brags that he saw Eric's chrome chikara kit.
I wanted to hitch hike to Toronto for the Convention in 1995. But I was just a kid lol.
First show was Reunion April 1997. I actually won tickets from my local radio and hitch hiked to Winnipeg which is 600 kms from home. My cousin and I. 2 days later I went to Saskatoon.
Farewell tour 2000 Saskatoon. Sounded much better mix wise.
Live to Win tour MN, USA. Unbelievable show.
Ace Frehley Anomaly tour. Small theatre . EXTREMELY loud and raw and in your face.
Honest to God, at the Winnipeg show, Sonic Boom tour, the lighting truss caught fire and noone noticed or didn't say anything. The crowd was lame and very quiet that Paul actually heard me yell "FIRE!!!! FIRE!!!" Paul says "what?" By then the road crew brought the truss down and put out the fire. Tommy started playing Firehouse and Eric sang it haha.
Next night Saskatoon, was fucking killer. My wife and I were in the 5th row. Paul even said last night's Winnipeg crowd sucked .
Saw them In 2013 and again later on. Same setlist . Very underwhelming. Very stale.
End of the road tour. If I can get a free ticket I'll go. But it's officially not in my budget. It would be cool to hear Eric Singer play drums with no triggers for the first time with Kiss since 1995.

It's amazing how much our Kiss concerts are the same in many ways. I was supposed to see them on Dynasty but that was the time of no cell phones and I missed it.finally got to see them on Creatures in January 83 in Toledo Ohio I was 10 and after that I seen them usually in Detroit for animalize, crazy, asylum,hot,tiger stadium 96,pyscho, reunion and 2003 with Peter still on drums.have seen and met Ace many times even hanging backstage 2012. I have seen scab kiss and I will always feel there's only one Spaceman and the Catman and will not pay to see them now.🎸🥁🎙️

People raving about the current End of the Road tour love the pyro and flashy lights, Gene can barely move and Paul is a 70 year old man wiggling his ass while lip syncing the same tired old songs, no one with taste is loving it.

Seen Kiss twice: November 1990 in NYC or NJ ,cannot recall but it was Eric Carr's last show. Second time was July 1996 at Madison square Garden on the reunion tour.

I only saw them twice the first time was with Eric Carr...and the second time was on the Reunion Tour...got first row in front of Ace on that one...it was strange we went there without tickets and there was a guy selling tickets and it was somewhere in the first mezzanine and the guy working the ticket booth overheard the deal I was making and came out and said what are you doing...I have first row seats...directly in front of Ace...I said "Yea...right" he said "No Im serious" I got both tickets for like 100...I thought there was no way. We went inside and Ill be damned he was right. I had first row directly in front of Ace. I couldnt believe it. How much luckier could I get,hehe. I didnt have a cell phone so I dropped a quarter in the payphone and called a buddy of mine up and told him what had happened. He said "No Way!". He has since been killed in a car wreck. So there is no way I can top that! The first time I was at the back of the floor in a smaller place. It was definitely cool. Saw Eric do the drum solo he was known for with the flying kit and all. I believe that was on the Hot in the Shade tour. There is no way to top what happened on the Reunion Tour but it was still damned cool.
I regret passing on Paul's club tour in '89. He's turned into a rock n roll Red Skelton (hopefully Dr Fukk will get what I mean).

Was born in 75 my first album was Love Gun...lolplayed wth the gun an of course the tatts o well....had fun....Kiss was on on my kisd record player 24/7 til I got a new one.. .yes back in the day it was considered a new one...not an upgrade....lol but you even with the New One I still played Kiss...gotme through alit of things back then an still makes me think while listening to them now....Yes Dufe you remind me of my friends I grew up with....Love All your vids.... I grew up loving kiss and went to several shows on various tours but Revenge was my fav tour by far. Very tight line up.
I saw the first reunion tour with Ace and Peter in Philadelphia and I was bored to tears. Ace and Peter dialed it in I felt. Ace and Paul of course are professional but I didn’t care. I paid a boat load of money for great seats and was just annoyed by Peter and Ace dialing it in.

I gave you a like thumbs up you're right that was the best version ever heard of that song besides Wendy O Williams doing it and it's pretty heavy I saw kiss for the Destroyer tour and I was really little didn't miss a tour after that all the way up to hot in the shade that I think I skipped one or two concerts and I saw there concerts until after hot in the shade I think I skipped 3 or 4 after that that I took my daughter to the first reunions tour she loved she jumped out of a seat at the first explosion didn't realize that was going to happen I was watching her jump up and was funny and I was a happy father to see her enjoying the show saw the cyco circus tour and then I saw them once after that and then I saw this new concert which was pretty good concert I enjoyed myself I took my mom I also took my mom when I took my daughter to see them she took me every single time to the kiss concerts so I decided to take her that time

I seen the 2000 Farewell Tour at the Civic Center In Roanoke va and I thought Ted and the new version of Skid Row were awesome maybe Uncle Ted being the best but before that I seen the 96’ Kiss reunion tour at the Roanoke Civic Center in Roanoke va with The Bog Men and I’m sorry they sucked lol but both Shows was killer … thanks … GOD BLESS !!!

First time seeing KISS last week in Tampa...amazing show. All the negative things said about the band and live performance, much I agree with, but they were phenomenal-so glad I got to see them once. Tommy is not Ace though-still don't like his playing or solos. Eric Singer was great on Black Diamond, and the end song special effects for Cold Gin were impressive too
You and I saw the same first 5 KISS shows, from Creatures to Asylum. Remember hearing "All Hell's Breakin' Loose" outside the Sportatorium. Skipped Crazy Nights and HITS tours, hated those albums. Then saw Revenge (loved it!) and 1st reunion tour (hated it, Peter's drumming ruined it for me, especially after seeing Eric Singer on Revenge). Haven't seen them since.

I had to think hard about this shit. My buddy Scott showed up one day with the KISS ALIVE album. I was hooked, So he and I went to see KISS at Tempe Diablo Stadium (Az) An outdoor baseball stadium, there was a light rain Destroyer Tour on 8-17-1976 with Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band, Ted Nugent they say the first time is the best it was GREAT.
LOVE GUN Tour 8-22-77, Phx Veterans Memorial Coliseum Shit seats and the sound in there always sucked.
Dynasty Tour 11-10-79 PHX at Veterans again, But saw Gene Fly and Ace shoot his flying guitar down.
Creatures of the Night Tour/10th Anniversary Tour, 3-28-83 PHX at Veterans again. HATED THIS SHOW, Vinnie and his makeup did not fit KISS, and I simply never got into Eric Carr's drumming, Tank was a neat but failed idea.
Animalize Tour, 2-6-85 PHX at Veterans again No Makeup, I did not dig this version of KISS as they were trying to gyrate around to be hip.
Crazy Nights Tour, 3-25-88 Compton Terrace Phx,Az. Not sure why I went, hoped for something different.
Alive/Worldwide Tour - 8-21-96 America West Arena-Of Course KISS in Makeup again Peter and Ace Oh ya, Great show but the NOSEBleed seats sucked.
Psycho Circus Tour 1-31-98 Opening Night Dodger Stadium Los Angeles,Ca. Well, the opening act Smashing Pumpkins SUCKED nothing but a wall of noise and Kenny Arronf on drums had orange goggles on that were all steamed up, the circus shit was a waste of time and money, the 3-D was bullshit, But, the fireworks after the show were tremendous.
Kiss Farewell Tour 3-11-2000 Opening Night Desert Sky Pavilion PHX,Az /8-2 Mandalay Bay Las Vegas/9-29 Nationwide Arena Columbus, OH. So I saw KISS before the show, and got paid to be part of the "CROWD" for the KISS/Pepsi commercial being shot in Phx before the show date on the 9th, $100 & a meal for a few hours of shooting it. Got to "Talk" between takes with Ace and Paul, Poor Ace, he had to leave as his father died & I did get to chit chat with Doc for a few minutes. I had a job that allowed me to travel, and I bought into the entire end of KISS thing. The Shows were great and in Vegas,I took my son for his first show and someone took us and stuck us into the 10th row center stage.

What can I say, I lost interest in KISS due to horrible albums and of course "SCAB KISS" I posted all this shit so I had it all in one place, getting old sucks. And ZERO plans to see the new fake tour, not unless there is a huge change and they should pass near me again.

I saw Kiss 3 times: Reunion, Psycho Circus, and the fake Farewell Tour. After the 3rd tour Kiss shows to me were all the same and now are ridiculously expensive and I refuse to see any show with Cheater Criss and The Space Fake who are more obviously not the "characters" they pretend to be than the Blue Faker action figure from the Masters of the Universe toy line...
