I WATCH A LOT OF CHANELS AND I NOTICED THAT A LOT OF U-TUB CHANELS HAVE TWO TO THREE CHANELS AND I ENJOY THEM ALL BECAUSE EACH HAS IT'S OWN WAY OF DOING THERE CHANELS I JUST LOVE THEM ALL ❤️
You will love a screened in porch, but hey, stairs up to the screen door are a mistake, we have rock steps up to our screened porch, it’s hard to hold stuff and open the door, you have to step back and down a step. I’d platform a little area to stand on before you go down. I just know what we deal with. Only other thing is to swing door in on porch. That doesn’t work for us. So just a thought.
From the first time you started building the deck on the dome, I thought a multiple level series of decks coming from the house and stepping down onto a wide deck, then stepping down onto a wide deck and then a 3rd wide deck that steps onto the deck of the dome. Instead of stairs, just a lower series of wide decks. I would match the width of the dome deck.
I feel like we are all waiting for the FIRST EGG and you will have 37.2K subscribers doing the chicken dance of happiness for you! you guys are rocking this!
Greetings from Northeast Ohio. I’m glad to hear about a screened in porch. I have a front porch with a roof and I have a porch swing on it. Then in the back of my house I have a nice deck that leads into a big screened in porch. I too live in the woods, and you cannot enjoy the outdoors without screening. I’m really happy to hear you say this. You will love it, I promise..kmj
I think a breezeway from Thunderdome to the house will be awesome! Screening the deck is a great idea. Outdoor living space with no bugs, yay!! Take care and God bless you all!
Greetings from Northeast Ohio. Last week was a big week for me. My husband passed away two years ago so I haven’t done any canning since 2019. Last Sunday I put up 21 quarts of whole tomatoes which was a bushel minus the 14 tomatoes I kept for table eating and sharing. Lol. Then in the middle of the week my sister and I did 2 bushels of Roma tomatoes for juice. We got 44 quarts. Tomorrow we’re doing another bushel for whole tomatoes for her And Thursday we’re doing two more bushels of Roma’s because she wants 20 more quarts of juice and I want 10. We will cook that juice down into sauce. With my husband’s passing we didn’t have a garden. First time in 56 years that I didn’t have a garden. But I was happy to have bought these tomatoes for $30 a bushel. So since your tomatoes didn’t grow this year, think about putting the money back into the economy and buying your tomatoes. On the news it says we’re going to be short of tomatoes this year so there may not be these items on the grocery store shelf this year. But I will have my canning shelves full in my basement. Think about it Roxanne, buy your tomatoes this year. Ohio tomatoes are amazing.
Oh yay! That's exactly what we wanted y'all to do. When you said you had plans, I told my husband...Oh! Oh! I hope it's a screened in summer porch! When I first moved to Az from Phx (to marry my husband in 1982) he took me to his uncle and aunt's house out on a farm. We sat on their big screened in porch drinking sweet tea, and I was seeing a huge pink Mimosa tree in bloom. I thought I had died and gone to heaven.
At the end of the deck you could make an outdoor kitchen area. For your grill. And have a nice entertaining area. Screened in porch with a place to eat outside. Have a firepit. Lots of ideas. It will be nice no matter what you do!!!!!. Don't forget if your gonna screen in your porch put some backing underneath on the porch so bugs can't get in thru the floor. We learned!!!! Can't wait!!!!
Great idea guys, I love a screened in porch, you can eat & drink your sweet tea with out bugs! LOL Anthony, your chickens & roosters are getting so big! Seems like I hear them crowing more each video. Bet ya can't wait to start getting eggs too! LOL Boy, could we use some of that rain y'all are getting. Have a great day guys, I gotta go get on my stove top cleaning, house cleaning. Catch ya on the next one!
PS: Move garden to the back you could watch veggies growing rocking chairs to rock yourself to sleep that’s what my husband likes to do we been married 53 years this past August. Maybe make front porch big enough to put some chairs on that porch too so you could set and watch seasons changing, as you get older you will love different places and swings in edge of the woods different spots like that shade we worked hard pass years, now those things mean more. Kids enjoy life. God Bless You! Be thankful for the large and small things you see,we all need to celebrate and give thanks for what we have as it’s a gift?
The flower garden area at the end will pop, and a screened porch is nice, it'll help keep flying insects out of your home and porch. The breezeway between Thunder dome and the big porch should be thought out carefully. To big a step down creates a space crunch between the two, or height problem from one to the other. You don't want the steps to crowd over to far into Thunder Dome. Love what you're doing ❤️
Screening the deck is a great idea. Will you lose your view of the backyard with a solid half wall when you are sitting down? We didn’t want to lose our view of our lake so we screened top to bottom. We put a ledge halfway down and put an X design for the bottom half. Hope this made sense.
The screened porch is a fantastic idea. I lived in Queensland Australia for most of my life and the climate is hot wet humid summers like you have there. In summer being able to eat outdoors in the cool of the evening is a must but mosquitoes eat you alive. My in laws had a screened in porch and it was heaven, loved when we went there for meals, even during the day it was great. Often the humidity was so bad air conditioning was flat out coping so to be outside with a fan on the porch was the only way to stay comfortable. Doing an amazing job guys, excited for you to move in soon 🙏❤️
He ladies and gents are definitely happy to see you every morning Anthony. I was hoping you would have a screened in porch. You will get so much use out of it.(bug free).nice trim around post.
You two did an amazing job finishing up the flooring of the deck. It was truly a great treat to see all the fur babies keeping you company there on the deck!! Thanks for sharing with us!
Hey guys, just a little FYI. I believe that feeding corn elevates the chickens temp is an old wives tale. You don't have to worry about it when temps outside are high. Keep up the good work.
A screened-in porch is a great idea. Love how big the extension of the deck is making it overall!!! That will be such a fabulous kick back and relax area. Plus since it’ll be screened in and covered you will have use of it year round. Have I told you how much I love your channel. You guys are so calm and you work together fantastically. And i love your chickens, the chikenladies and gents are definitely happy to see you every morning Anthony. I wish you all a greay week. stay safe and healthy .
A screened-in porch is a great idea. I got my chickens March 29. I got my first egg September 2. I was so excited! They have layer 5 as of today- I have 4 hens. I got 4 more the first of May, so still waiting on them. You all will not know what to do when everything is done. Lol! It’s looking great. I hope you insulation comes in soon.
WOW !!!! I LUV YOUR PLANS FOR THE DECK, AND THE CORNER SPACE FOR PLANTS OR MAYBE WITH A SM HUMMINGBIRD ARCH !!! SO MUCH POTENTIAL GOING ON FOR YA'' MAY GOD KEEP YOUR FAMILY BLESSED AS ALWAYS..

Hello Roxanne & Anthony , I must say I'm very pleased to see how much your building skills have improved since you left and started your adventure. Keep up the good work.
Hi..Shelley from Dallas, Tx. Love what your doing and the future plans. I thought a hot tub at the end of the long deck would be super cool and a great way to relax and massage your bodies after a hard days work. You could have some small plants around most of the base too. Great Idea, huh?
As someone who has a small hotub under my covered deck on my back porch it sure comes in handy in cool and cold weather esp after you get chilled to the bones doing outside chores and cannot seem to get fully warm once inside. Soooooo nice! Ours is 110 not 220.
I absolutely love the progress you all have made. It’s wonderful to see the work dynamic between you two. I found your sisters channel. I’ve been binge watching them. It’s amazing to see the work being done. I love it
As usual you two kick butt when it comes to your property. The deck of the patio is done, and as soon as that rain lets up you can get the roof on. A screened out porch is an excellent idea. You’ll be spending more time in that enclosed patio. I used to eat most of my meals on my patio.
You can still put in your stairs at the end of the deck with a screen door that swings in on the side of the deck away from the house. You would still have room for bushes or plants at the end of the house. Unless you intended to put something in the corner the screen door opening against the outside wall shouldn't take away that much space on the inside. Plus, it will make it a lot easier when you are carrying in groceries or anything else.
A screened porch would be great so you guys can sit outside without worrying about all the bugs, including those pesky mosquitoes 🦟🦟🦟. You should make your own screen door - it's easier than you know. Shoot, you didn't think you could build decks and install sheetrock, then cover the holes and cracks, and then sand them down. So, since you can do all of that, you can make your own screen door, lol!
Hi Anthony & Roxanne. Things are looking good there. What you decide to do as to the deck, or anything else there, has to please only the both of you. Always enjoy your videos. Blessings from Rick in N.H.
True....it is wise though to consider aging etc as Anthony's Mom is aging and they themselves aren't 20. suggestions are t criticism. One can take them or leave them. I know at approaching 60 that when you are excited and building sometimes you don't realize how fast aging comes or unforseen things happen.Manh people I know wish they had planned better so they could stay in their homes longer and not end up in an Sr living or elder care or assisted living far from home. Dk where the nearest is to them but they sound pretty rural. It would be so dad if they only got a decade of living there in or had to totally rebuild due to aging. Better to think about it now and build that allows for aging or for slight modifications for common aging health concerns and get 4 or more decades of living there in
Hi Anthony and Roxanne The deck is coming along great. I like the ideas you have for screening it in and connecting to Thunder Dome. I was thinking the same thing as you were starting the deck. Wishing continued success in all you do Stay safe
Hi, you certainly got a lit done. The Deck is huge and your Plans for it will definitely enhance your Outdoor Living Space. Also with the two Decks connected it will be easier in the Wintertime to move from one to the other without have to wear Boots and heavy Jackets. All really very easy to go ba k and forth. The view is also great and the Flowers will make it very good as well. Blessings
Hi Roxanne & Anthony, I must say I love your Deck and your ideas for the connection of the main house & Thunder Dome. You both should be both so proud how everything is working out for yee. I love watching your videos as yee both are so down to earth. S keep up the briliant work. 🙂💖👍👍
@Country Road Cure - I love this old western farming style. You could build a water tower like the ones used by the old western trains to coellectmore rain water. And an old windmill, haha. I would love to help. But so long as we have no beaming technics we never will met because flying here from the Netherlands to the US costs so much money.
Love the idea of a screened in porch. You guys will love it. So excited to see it coming together. After all the heat we had in august were finally getting much needed rain. A little water never hurt anybody. You two are proof of that. Thanks guys for keeping those videos acoming.
I love the new addition to your deck VERY NICE. Yes a great area for you to eat and visit with company for even lunch or dinner or just a nice cup of coffee LOL On your feed for the chickens maybe put them in plastic barrels with screw on lids to keep it fresh, dry and out of the reach of various critters or leaving them open and out to attract the critters to get into their food and leave bad stuff in it like pee and poo. God bless you ALL.
What an exciting morning!! Always a good morning watching 41.36 waking up and starting your day and inviting all of us ❤️ to tag along 😀. We really love seeing the chickens and roosters 🐓 getting so excited to see you Anthony in the morning. It is the cutest thing to watch. You both really make/made a visual impact- Roxanne on her garden and how much she was able to harvest from it. Roxanne has always greeted every video with her smile and we know that say love went into her garden and those plants really took off. We have watched Anthony and his chickens/roosters its amazing that they are only 5 months old and have been big already for several months and what beautiful colors! We know those eggs are coming soon and will have in all different colors 😉. We love watching Wyatt grow and seeing what he interested in and we will be able to watch his growth 😀. How exciting to see the plans taking place and some exciting changes 😀 It was exciting to hear about the screened in porch 😀 coming soon 🙌 and it will be a perfect place for Roxanne glider rocker 😉 to sit 😀. You guys are such a Blessing to all of us and truly enjoy spending time watching you guys achieve your dreams ❤️. God Bless you and keep you safe always ❤️🙏
Ye came up on my feed and my moto is I will give everyone 1 chance,.....1 vlog and I commit to watch to the end before I decide anything. I got to say I like ye so now I must back track, binge watch which is what I do with the few programmes I find. I consider YT like tv, I like something I want to watch, I subscribe & try to catch up. Besides that that deck looks great!
Use a jig saw to cut those small areas. They will really come in handy for other future projects as well. I would highly recommend you making a ramp on your deck. You will find that you should have built one.
I WATCH A LOT OF CHANELS AND I NOTICED THAT A LOT OF U-TUB CHANELS HAVE TWO TO THREE CHANELS AND I ENJOY THEM ALL BECAUSE EACH HAS IT'S OWN WAY OF DOING THERE CHANELS I JUST LOVE THEM ALL ❤️
The deck is going to be so nice to sit on for coffee in the morning or chatting after the evening meal. I miss having a screened porch.
The deck will look even more amazing when it has been screened in and I love the idea of linking it to thunderdome.
You will love a screened in porch, but hey, stairs up to the screen door are a mistake, we have rock steps up to our screened porch, it’s hard to hold stuff and open the door, you have to step back and down a step. No that's a good thought and lot of other commented the same thing. We thought of making are own screen. So if we do make it swing in.
Anthony what about a sliding door into the porch from thunderdome? Takes no space out of the deck
That’s gr8 idea or two.
@@countryroadcure you guys are doing an awesome job x
From the first time you started building the deck on the dome, I thought a multiple level series of decks coming from the house and stepping down onto a wide deck, then stepping down onto a wide deck and then a 3rd wide deck that steps onto the deck of the dome. Definitely a great idea to connect the Thunderdome so you can be protected from rain while walking there. Also, love the idea of a screened in porch!

Ohhh yeah! A screened in porch room! Love it!
I agree you do need a small landing before you walk in a screen door or any door you have to back down the steps after you open the door.
Love your ideas of a screened in porch and connecting to thunder dome. ❤️❤️❤️
The porch is looking Greaaaat Y’all & it’s gonna look even better screened in on that end!Do I see a rocker or double glider in Roxane’s future?

Thank you Rita!! 😊 I hope I get a rocker. I could definitely fit it on the back porch.
Hello Roxanne & Anthony , I must say I'm very pleased to see how much your building skills have improved since you left and started your adventure. Keep up the good work.
Looks great Y'all. One bite at a time. Proud of you!

You guys have done great. The deck looks awesome. Can't wait to see it finished.

I LOVE your porch. I have always loved porches . Your plans are neat. Keep up the good work.
Love the idea of a screened in porch. You guys will love it. So excited to see it coming together. After all the heat we had in august were finally getting much needed rain. A little water never hurt anybody. You two are proof of that. Thanks guys for keeping those videos acoming.
I think the way you are going to do your deck. Is awesome. 😍😍
Another great day ❤️❤️❤️Gail
Sounds like an awesome plan, connecting Thunder Done. I like it! Good plan!
Looking forward to the final presentation, sounds like it will be very nice to have a screened in porch relaxation area!
How exciting to see the plans taking place and some exciting changes 😀
It was exciting to hear about the screened in porch 😀 coming soon 🙌 and it will be a perfect place for Roxanne glider rocker 😉 to sit 😀.
You guys are such a Blessing to all of us and truly enjoy spending time watching you guys achieve your dreams ❤️. God Bless you and keep you safe always ❤️🙏
Great job well done your husband did great job
YOUR DECK IS LOOKING GREAT 👍 AND I CANT WATE TO SEE MORE OF IT LOL
That picture of two of the sweetest people on UA-cam!!! Love from Canada
It's looking so good !! Ya'll are doing a great job !! It's such a nice place !! So happy for ya'll !!! 💜💜
You really need to put some golf balls in each slot so the chickens will know that's where they should lay eggs. 😎
I really like the deck ideas. You two are doing a great job.
Screens on the deck sounds wonderful, great idea
THE DECK LOOKS BEAUTIFUL
Work. Hard. Make. Soul. Feel. Good
Do not forget to put those trim pieces around the bottom of the posts at the game room. That will help tie everything together.
