Outstanding review! I'm not sure if I missed it in the video but I want to mention that besides a lack of physical mute, there is also no way to turn the volume of the monitors and headphones all the way down without the software. If you turn the dial all the way down, your monitors and headphones will still output a conversational level of audio (depending on the level of the input). Surprisingly, the single dial didn't bother me as much as I thought it would but I still like a physical mute too. I'm waiting for this bug to be addressed before I make a review too.
The single control dial for everything kills it for me. I had to get rid of the Audient EVO interfaces for the same reason. Glad to see the DSP options baked in at this price point.
Interesting that Americans are aware that their stereotype is "too high energy and obnoxious". But the stereotype isn't what Bandrew usually is like, instead it's more being inappropriately friendly and excited,. As a cold and sober German, I don't want strangers to talk to me as if we're super duper close friends. Yuck. And the "I'm so excited about this" attitude always seems painfully fake. That's why I like this channel, the enthusiasm is down to earth and believable.

Danke No. 3. Awesome video, Bandrew with a perfect throw at the beginning 👌 After watching your review and Julian's, too, I feel I don't miss anything not getting this Lewitt interface. It has some nice features and nice software, but it's not enough at this price to me.
Thank you so much for the support Rainer, as always I appreciate it so much. It has a specific target audience, and if I had realized this prior to publishing the video I would have pointed it out...it's like a beefed up version of the Elgato Wave XLR. For some people it's going to be exactly what they're looking for and it'll fit into their workflow. For many others, the shortcomings are going to be too much to overcome.

It is usually possible to run thru an buffered pedal - as in most tuner pedals - to add a buffer to electric guitar. This may solve the low pass problem.
For my purposes, the only big downside to this interface is the lack of a physical mute button. Everything else is tailor made. The DSP features on offer here are finally enough to make me want to migrate way from my GoXLR Mini. Then again...I do still have the good ole Rolls MicSwitch that I previously used for muting back when I used the Scarlett Focusrite Solo...I could totally just dust that thing off 😎. I think all I want for Christmas is a Lewitt Connect 6 🎅🎄😉.
I'm in the market for a new interface. For gaming/streaming. I love the versatility of this but I may have to wait to see if they will actually add a physical mute button. That was a miss on their part but thank you for pointing that out and maybe they will add on their next revision. Then it will be an insta-buy from me.
Great video, have you ever had a audio interface make obs or streamlabs drop frames when recording ? Basically it just sounds like it skips every once in awhile,. I Got A ssl2 plus and that's happening. Does not happen with my Scarlett solo
Great video Bandrew! I agree with you, I like the idea of this interface and it is a great addition to the market. It would be great for me in my scenario for streaming games and casually chatting with my friends on discord, but I wouldn’t personally get it because of the poor line in inputs and no Hi-Z on the line in inputs. I play my guitar regularly through my audio interface on my PC using guitar tone simulators, and this interface doesn’t seem to compete with my Audient Evo 8 in terms of music capability. So personally I wouldn’t switch from my Evo 8 to this interface even for the DSP processing.
Sounded like NPR..."This is Podcaststage, I am Bandrew." BTW...Nice throw. How about reviewing the CAD m179 microphone and Presonus io24 interface, please? Also, are there after interfaces NOT made in China?
PSA for anyone researching budget interfaces: Presonus Revelator io24 has as good or better software/DSP capabilities at literally half the price, a metal casing, hi-z inputs, and a pretty nice iPadOS app that essentially mirrors/controls what's going on on the PC. io24 lacks the direct phone port and, while the preamps aren't bad, if you have a gain-hungry mic, you may need a fethead or cloudlifter (which would negate some of the cost savings). imo, io24 offers best interface features for the price.
Very nice. How do the drivers work when it is connected to two computers? For me a mac M2 and a windows 11 pc. Does the drivers communicate back and forth between the machines? Or do you have to choose which computer is in control of the interface and which one just receives whatever settings the "master" has set?
Ciao Bandrew audio interfaces...:what do you suggest about these devices_? SSL2 or Connect 6 Dual USB-C - Universal Audio Apollo Solo - Elgato Wave XLR - AUdient ID 14 MKII or Focusrite Scarlett Two?? and what about Rodecaster Pro 1 against the others? thanks for reply ciao Max from Italy
I purchased the Lewitt Connect 6, but could never get it to work on my PC. I am unsure if was supposed to be plug-&-play (in which case it failed), or if they expected me to go into the BIOS and disable the integrated audio on my motherboard. And if that's the case, then why didn't it come with instructions to do so?
This isn't a plug and play device. It requires additional software which you download from their site, but to my knowledge you shouldn't need to go into your bios and disable your mother board audio. Sorry to hear it didn't work for ya.

What’s the best, yet affordable microphone & interface for connecting to my pc to use for recording vocals? I’ve had a few condenser mics but I’ve never really used them, I’ve always been a usb mic kind of feller. I’m currently using the Samson c01U Pro mic & it’s doing me well but I want to convert to condenser mics. I’m sitting here messing with this cheap old condenser mic & phantom power supply that I bought years ago & cost me around 20 bucks & it’s way too much static in it & it’s so annoying.
There are plenty of good interfaces. Once you hit around $100 most of them sound pretty good too. Focusrite Scarlett, Native Instruments stuff, Arturia Minifuse. Then you have Universal Audio Volt, SSL 2/2+, Motu M2/M4, etc. The interface listed all sound pretty darn good and it really comes down to what feature set you need. That's something I can't answer for you.
Is that a Casio World Time? Kind of looks like it but slightly different. My AE1200 is probably my cheapest watch but I'm a fan of it so I wear it probably the most.

Boost has 0 impact on the tone of the recording. I am simply following proper gain staging, and this is how most people should be recording. Set your gain low enough so that when you get loud you do not hit 0dB on your interface which then clips the analog to digital converter and distorts. Once the audio is convered then you can either add gain and a limiter for a live stream, or just had gain in your DAW / Video Editor to get it to a more reasonable listening level.
If Lewitt puts a mute button, an ADAT port to expand on Mic pre's, and high-z inputs for DI recording, I don't see why we would buy any other audio interface. Seriously, I had this in my cart on Sweetwater.
Great review, thanks! The line in part was super useful, I found something similar on the Rødecaster Pro II when using the SE Dynacaster > dbx286s (for the expander…) > RCP2. Same thing there, there seems to be very little headroom: it clipped very easily despite adequate levels. Lowering the output on the dbx solved it though.

Good luck, sorry I can't be more help.
If you are a Mac user don't buy it - it has to many problems. I had to send it back. You cant get the sound out of it on a Mac into anything else except for mike 1 input. So you can not record out anything except mike 1 not even into Logic Pro the other outputs you need do not show up to use they are missing. Presets to do not show up you saved so you know what setting you are using. EQ line dose not show up you need to turn it on and off to get it to show up then when you go out and back in its back not showing. Monitor sound output bleeds out even when set to 0.
The line input is unacceptable in a "high end" interface... Podcast/Live audio? Good enough/Nice features... Professional High End Interface? Not so much... See Julian Krause for all the reasons...
