Are the dipped lights the same as the daytime running lights? when I have my dipped lights on they are both fine but when I turn it into auto, only the passenger side bulb works, any ideas?
Hi mate, just bought a corsa sxi 1.2 Cdti that’s had a bump at the front, now when headlights are off the indicator is working (slight flash of drl light at same time) but with headlights on it makes all bulbs flash although dim... would it be a bad earth/damaged wires or would it be as simple as the drl bulb blown? It’s so difficult to get to, was hoping for a quick bodge for now as I’m going to replace the headlight unit at some point anyway. Thanks 👍🏼
I now have two daytime running bulbs rattleing around in the headlamp shell. The bulbs seem a lousy fit. Should I get a new holder - after I have shaken the bulbs out. They seem too happy to fit any way round.
@@aaanton11 One on order. The bulbs dont seem to be obviously "polarised". Dreadful things. May put a dab of silicone on to endure it stays in the holder. Do you know how to visually check they are the right way in - relative to the tab on the holder?
Rule 1....Dont touch the bulb with your fingers, as they will deposit grease onto the glass. Always use something to hold it (Paper or something) or clean the bulb thoroughly with some degreaser after installing. Other than that, great video.

Wondering about a dab of silicon sealant to help retain the bulb when I get the new holder. Shocking design and aweful bulbs.
@@aaanton11 I think I need to encourage the contacts in the headlamp shell. Got the bulbs removed from the headlamp when it went in for some bodywork that required the front bumper off.
Please which other lights turns on at the back of the opel corsa D 2008 when the daylight is on? My daylight goes on with the back Plat number light and one other red light at the back. Could someone please help me to know if it's normal?

that is the top headlight mounting bolt, it is a screw into a plastic mounting clip.Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
