I just bought an identical car at Bob Ross Buick in Dayton. I pick it up Wednesday morning.

I have this car - I Love It! Yes engine is small - but very peppy people! - I drove in fast traffic with no issue at all. I simply love this car! Its very quiet, and drives very nice. Trust me! - You won't be disappointed.
If i have any thing negative to say about this vehicle it would be I don't like the brake/ turn signals near bumper area. Also my particular vehicle didn't come with blind spot monitoring, or rear cross traffic which i had on my previous car. But I now have the heated seats, heated steering wheel, and electric drive seat for adjustment, as i didn't have in my Mazda3.
As we know, all cars may come equipped with different package options. Every car may have something different.
With the brake/signal lights near bumper area, it WILL only make Envista drivers more ALERT. I always signal at least 100 feet before i come to making a turn. This will give drivers behind you some notice. Overall I love my car, I purchased it in the Ocean Blue color. I traded the Mazda 3 sedan because i sat too low. The Buick Envista is new on the market and I have no regrets with giving it a try. Kia's brake/turn signal are also in same location.
Yes It's true that cars were built to be more reliable many years ago. I pray this one will treat me just fine. My dad drove Buicks all his life, but the name (BUICK) used to sound old for me when i was much much younger, therefore never bought one. Now i have a Buick, and is a proud owner! and I was able to use my moms discount, as she is a GM retiree. It saved me 1,800.00.
Last but not least - Don't let the negative reviews discourage you. Just take care of your car, and make sure you change your oil faithfully.
It doesn't matter what brand of car you purchase, someone will always have negative comments to make. Car issues one may have with their car, doesn't mean it will happen to yours.
Perfect Example: Someone report in a blog that their engine blew just a few months after getting the car, well that sounds like a manufacture issue there, whoever assembled that part may have missed something on that assembly line. Yes I'd be pissed, but Things can happen. Those people building these cars aren't perfect. Good luck people! Gotta Love a Buick!

Thank you for your post. I just bought the identical car (I call it Skye) last week and after totalling a large sedan I'm very nervous to start driving again. Car and Driver describes this vehicle as being small on the outside and big on the inside and I feel it is just that. Gee, something I can get into the garage again and still be able to move around! It makes me happy to hear that you too are pleased with your purchase. I bought mine used with 3,000km on it. So far the engine is fine! I appreciate the heads up concerning the brake/turn signals. I will be extra cautious.

Cools okay. The brake light positions are less then desirable. Could have more for being a premium brand. Overall not bad.

I like it, but that rear seat storage pocket is useless. Put ac vents in the rear. Also maybe Buick should look into upping their warranty even to 50k miles to mimic hyundai

The engine is Korean but the warranty from Buick is dismal. All Korean brands have 50K bumper to bumper and 100K powertrain and as I have seen they give a lot of problems and many need replacement . Kia and Hyundai dealers try to keep lots of engines in stock for this reason.

Car has a wet timing belt, so that’s an automatic fail

Warranty 3 years, 36,000 miles. You won't even have it paid for before it expires.

Please make me a car with the smallest weakest motor possible. This car is un-American! Americans want and need cars that are fast and powerful. We like to load our cars up with people and luggage and tow stuff and go up mountains and this weak tiny little motor will not do that sir. Yes, it is very pretty and has lots of features, but where is the power I need? Buick, you have embarrassed yourself but more importantly you have insulted consumers suggesting this is what we want, or worse implying this is what we deserve! It is not! We deserve a new car that also has a reserve of power that can also allow us to pass safely and do the speed limit when fully loaded going up our mountains. This car is a step backwards and needs to know that. Shame on you Buick. You used to make awesome cars like the Buick National and the Special and many many others. What the hell is happening?

@@travlcub No in Korea by Daewoo. That tells me don't buy, the wet belt timing belt is a big no a rubber belt running through the oil what could go wrong there, would have been $5 more for a proper chain.

Trying to speak for the American people when the market clearly proves they disagrees with you, hilarious.

Waving your phone around while recording made me nauseous. I almost barfed just watching.
