I never realized how much I love this guy and his art, but I do! He definitely brought something very positive and uplifting to this world. I imagine he was very humbled to learn that's why he's here.
MAN, I DEFINITELY remember this tune growing up in England.I was 6 years old at the time.certain songs that I remember at that age and believe me, THIS is one of them though at the time, I don't know the name of the singer or the name of the song til years later and just recently,I had absolutely no idea that he was the same guy who was responsible for the Archies hit sugar, sugar.WOW, you learn something every day.that is just amazing, god bless ANDY KIM.
Wow, this is exactly what I had to hear today. I would love to hear more about this session. The arrangement, engineering, prodction and performance was perfect in every way.
It's amazing how many "tune ups" led to a song. Slash was "tuning/warming up" and created "Sweet Child of Mine", Mick Jones was "tuning/warming up" and created "I Want to Know What Love Is".
Love this song great words and Melody Still love it today always asked for it to be played on the radio one of the best songs written Andy great job writting it and singing it l love the words and Melody you're a fantastic singer this song will always be one that everyone loves to hear I would love to see you in concert doing this song l will listen and play it forever
Yeah, memories of my childhood at the University College Hospital doctors' compound in Ibadan-Nigeria in 1977. If only songs like this could made these days !
I was 8 years old when this single was a hit and I loved it then. It is still my all time favourite song bar none. If it was the only song I could listen to from now until I die, I'd be very content and happy.
scratching my head here: watched a video of Ron Dante who the singer of the Archies and Cuff links who sang this song. He says Jeff Barry wrote this song . Help
Una de las pongas canciones de mi epoga de catorce años de edad con son contadas con los dedos de una sola mano está por no decir la más chingona de mi vida 🙏
Show some respect, why stop and comment if you hate? Move on, no one needs to read your childish insults. Both Sugar Sugar and this were # 1's in more than one country too, so millions disagree with your rude opinion.
Great guy Great song bought it when it came out never gets old😊
My Dad would say "rock me gently " in lieu of cursing when he would get angry when we were kids, love the song.
Saw the Sugar Sugar video and then this, back to back. What a thoughtful, grateful, well-spoken guy he is.
I love what you quoted, Andy. You're a good man. ❤️

Loved this song when I was kid... when I really liked a girl this would pop into my head... to this day it’s still on my play list.

And Randy Bachman of Guess Who was tuning his guitar, live on stage after having broke a string, when he came up with the riff for "American Woman".
Love the opening bass line 😎

Andy could Rock Me Gently and time anywhere. He still is one sexy man after all these years.

❤❤❤
Okay, so why hasn’t this album ever been rereleased in the digital era?
Always rock them gently and slowly.
Definitely a “BJ Thomas kinda feel”
What studio was that ?
When he speaks, he sounds so much like Gene Simmons, minus the attitude.
Check Andy out as Baron Longfellow.
I wonder who was the bass player, wiki doesn’t have the session musicians listed. 😡
scratching my head here: watched a video of Ron Dante who the singer of the Archies and Cuff links who sang this song. He says Jeff Barry wrote this song . Help
It was co-written by Andy Kim and Jeff Barry. It’s one of my favorites
Michelle Wright had this out as well
Reminds me of Gene Simmons! ...(good thing)

And you're a child.
Aw, he's a rolling stone fan. F off.
The man made more money off of both Sugar Sugar and this hit than a lot of us will see in a lifetime. But hey keep up the hate.

Let's hear your big million-selling iconic hit. Oh right, you don't have one. That's why you're anonymous.
❤❤
Good stuff
