at 12:44 the last chorus, the part you repeat to redo the chorus again is Bbmin7 : Eb/F : E/F# : Gb/Ab following by Gmin7 : C/D : Db/Eb : Eb/F

Guitar voicings:
Intro chords: G-7 C/D D/Eb Eb/F
* slash chords with the 2nd (aka 9th) in the bass are disguised SUS ( suspended) chords. So in the chord notation above C/D is a Dsus, D/Eb an Ebsus and Eb/F an Fsus -
therefore seeing the Bb/C simply as a disguised Csus7, to the Csus7 I simply add the 9th and 13th making it a Csus13 chord: x55557 or for piano - LH: C RH: ABbDF

you don't need perfect pitch as long as you have an instrument with you. If you're a musician, you can hear what key and what chords
He probably has the music sheet and is teaching us from there

Verse 1: well... D7(b9) and (b13) omit the fifth of course (A in this case)
so I tried to play along with the original version of this song which is just MJ and the piano and It sounded a little off. Is it just me or are the chords in that version a little different??
can I have a question? why do you play B flat in c7sus4 chord and not just B? I thought that you play just B when the chord is C7. I am just trying to understand the logic how to read this chords because I play all my life from notes. Thanks!!
The key of the song is in G minor scale. It has Bb and Eb in it.

My piano keyboard is to small to play this it’s a 61 note, is there any way of making the notes go lower? My keyboard is called YAMAHA
You should be able to transpose the keyboard an octave down (-12). If there ain’t a button on the keyboard for it, it should be in the settings interface somewhere
