Office Window = Au Revoir 2003

A view out the window of the sixth floor of Thirteen/WNET's old building at 450 West 33rd Street, before Hudson Yards was built. The song is called "Au Revoir," and is by an unknown singer on an acetate demo I bought at a thrift shop a number of years ago. The label is Metropolitan Recording Studios, and the lead sheet (with hand-written corrections) that came with the record credits the words and music to Peter Hanley.
The Museum of Modern Art screened a new, high-definition version of Office Window Au Revoir on February 17, 2022 as part its two-night program, New York City Symphonies of the Millennium Film Workshop.
