- I made it over to the Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati Assam to explore. When I first arrived, I met a photographer who took photos of me all over the temple. After, I came across an areas where they sell goats and I decided to purchase one to give it freedom. Now the goat roams around Kamakhya temple under my name.

Please come to SIVASAGAR . Many ancient monuments are here like AHOM RAJA'S PALACE, MAIDAM(pyramid of Eastern INDIA) etc.
Pigeons and goats are either offered or sacrificed in the temple. But now a days people feel better to offer them instead of killing in the name of sacrifice. Very interesting vlog

Are you kidding. The goat will get stolen and turned into gravy. Until majority people realise that there is no place for animals or animal products in our diet nothing will change.
For those who doesn't understand what happened...... There is 2 rules of Maa Kamakhya Temple......
1) Normal people buy those goats and they offer the Goddess and than let them free...... It is done so that a person can leave all the bad habits he had in him with that goat
2) The people who are practicing the Tantra Sadhana or black magic in other sense...... make sacrifices for offering to the holy and furious form of the goddess.....
Its like a woman who has two faces in reality..
1) The form in which she is holy and show care and love for her children
2)The furious and defending from of her in which she kill everyone who came to harm her children.
The goat you leave there nobody will touch it...... If anybody do so he/she will be cursed.... so that goat will live a peaceful life around the temple...... and he will be there untill his natural death
These rules came from nowhere. No ved upnishad has these rules. These rules came after the advent of british influence on our traditions.

@@worldnomac baby goat that you purchased was not to set free, it has two meanings,( Maa Kamakhya accepts the Bhog/Parsad in the form of Female Goat . Actually this is the one of the most Dangerous Look of Maa Sati from where Maa Kaali, Maa Chamunda, Maa Baglamukhi, Maa Kamakhya were evolved )
Therefore the Goat you purchased was for the Purpose of Bhog/Parsad, not to set it free .

In the Tamas (Tamogun) form of Maa Sati, she had a bowl in her hand that was filled with blood of devil's since she has fought the Wars with Chandmund , Shumbh-Nishumbh, Raktbeej etc
Therefore, you have gifted or devote your Negative Vibes/Feelings/Emotions/Karma etc etc to Maa Kamakhya in the form of Goat .
It's name was not "BOGO" , it was BHOG/BHOGA/PARSAD to Maa Kamakhya.

I am in awe at Mac’s humility and eagerness to understand the culture and find a guide to help him show around. Its a lil startling for me cause growing up we never looked at temples as a place tourists would visit and hence hardly ever thought of tour guides around temples. I'm so glad you tried to get yourself as involved as you could with the rituals and functioning of the temple. It was great to see your enthusiasm. But i wanna tell you one thing, you might sometimes feel that they didn't respond to you but the fact being is that many of the people in Assam don't understand english... I mean they do know english but the American accent is difficult for them so they don't understand.... Otherwise we are known for hospitality.
Seeing you i feel i wish i could help you. I hope you find a proper guide and have a proper stay in Guwahati.

I haven't watched this video or the past few in India yet. But I wanna say that it's AMAZING to me how much energy you have for travelling and producing these videos!!!
