I just find it bizarre that I heard this story and all this went down yesterday, cause, I've been spending the last several weeks and months catching up on Impact Wrestling and the day before on Monday, I got to this event, Under Siege, then finding out what happened yesterday.

Initially I wasn't aware of the Briscoes. But later when I got sick of the wwe's tag-team division became obsolete I started to look for better wrestling promotions I eventually found them. I learned about the Bullet Club in NJPW, and the Briscoe Brothers. But again I didn't know them, but as I watched their matches I saw something I hadn't seen in a LONG LONG TIME! They loved to wrestle. They loved the story, the sport, the fights, and it showed in EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEIR MATCHES! I wasn't a fan but I became a HUGE fan later. I only wish I could have seen their first matches. See them become who they became. Tag-Team Wrestling has ALWAYS been a intense experience. The classic Hardy Boys, Dudley Boyz, then later the Young Bucks, along with many amazing Tag-Teams from TNA & Impact. Like 🍺Beer🍻🍻Money🍺, and others. When I saw the first article about this, and sickeningly the local news said nothing, I was stunned. A father, a DEVOTED FATHER, taking his baby girls to cheerleading practice, ends up in a accident and passes away? How does this keep happening?!? The Briscoe Brothers were getting some more hype and Jay was in my opinion a amazing talent as is his brother. This is wrong. Just as parents shouldn't have to see their kids pass away, neither should children see it either. RIP Jay Briscoe and to his daughters and family I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Jay except for TV and the internet, but I've heard enough to know he was a great dad, and a great man. You are all in our prayers and we will continue praying 🙏 for you all.

Heard the news browsing through the internet last night and I honestly could not believe a word of what I was reading. Literally just last month, Jay was a part of the grand finale of an all-time classic trilogy of matches with FTR and now all of a sudden he's gone. I haven't been this shocked about a wrestler's death since Brodie Lee passed away a little over 2 years ago and 2023 has already gotten off to a rough start with us losing one half of easily the best tag team never to have performed once in WWE in the last 20 years. Yes he made some very controversial comments years ago, but the man spent so long apologizing for everything he said and those who aren't straight that were ever around him have all said he made them feel welcome, so anyone that's still trying to disparage him on those grounds alone especially now that he's dead should be ashamed of themselves. Hopefully Mark and the rest of their family are doing okay today and may Jay rest in peace, he will be sorely missed
