A diaper bag is an essential for any mommy and daddy. Now what goes into the diaper bag is a very different statement. I made a list of things I knew I wanted to keep in my diaper bag when I was pregnant with Emorett. Now, I’m at a point in my life with a newborn and a toddler where I want to see realistically what’s in my diaper bag.

Emmoret is adorable. He was trying to lift his shirt to apply the deodorant. Such a smart little boy. Its nice he will be bilingual.
Then he tried to use it as chapstick. LOL that cutie!

Just an idea that you might need that I had in my bag when i had small kids was band aids and tissues I also had a bag in the car with extra clothes and shoes because my kids had car sickness and a bucket and towel 🙂

I enjoyed your video the way you included Emorett was very adorable and attentive.
I understand limiting what you carry due to weight of the bag or depending on length of trip, but I always suggest 2 separate wipe containers. It doesn't always happen, but if you're in a middle of cleaning up 💩 you just never know what kind of bacteria you're putting back into the wipe package. Then if you use those same wipes on hands and faces you're spreading that bacteria to other germ spreading parts of the body and parts of the body it matters most. I also suggest a disposable incontinent pad like puppy pads or a reusable changing table liner you just never know when it will be needed. I might even suggest maybe a change of clothing for Emorett. A first aid kit would be useful.
But I used to keep extra of things in the car and then decided if I needed to take things with me the only time I regretted not taking things with if I locked the keys in the car or was not prepared in the moment for things.
Emmoret has reached that stage where everything he does is so funny. So sweet that he was trying to lift his shirt to use the deo before deciding to use it as a chapstick instead!

Love the bag itself! I only have 1 kiddo, right around your son's age, but that is definitely a bag i've been looking for, more purse-tote looking. I'm using a regular baby bag still (which I guess is ok.. but meh). When your little boy jumped up for the snacks it brought a smile to my face. So cute how he loves to eat! I loved my mama roo bouncer that you have Eloise in. It’s amazing at settling babies.
I also had a ‘regular’ bag instead of a baby (diaper) bag, and think I was still carrying wipes, snacks and toys around for years 😁 (my youngest in now 6) it’s just easier to avert any meltdowns or hunger pains if you know you’ve something to hand.

Buy a big package of wipes in the car - I don’t have a baby and I am always using the package of wipes in the car.
Put outfits in a quart size ziplocks. Keeps them together and helps keep your bag. Bring bags to put the diaper in before placing it the garbage. Some states have laws around it, but the people around the garbage can and emptying the garbage will be so thankful!
