Late to this but apparently Suda went way off script and made jokes only Japanese wrestling fans would have understood which is why he had difficulty with it. Because he couldn’t communicate what he was saying in a way that would make sense to an international audience.
Who's here after the PS5 presentation and noticing how much better this was? They actually showed off a better selection of games, as well as the specs, price, release date, home menu, and alternate controller colors, while Sony showed off nowhere near as good of games (the new Spider-Man and Ratchet and Clank look cool though) and didn't show off much about the console, no release date, price or anything. I wish I could go back to 2017 where we didn't have quarantine and we had alot to look forward to like Mario, Zelda, and Splatoon. It makes me sad that everyone's probably gonna be converted to PS5 and Xbox Series X once those come out and their gonna forget the switch ever happened. Not me, i'm grateful for the switch and i'm gonna stick to playing that over PS5 and Xbox Series X. 2017 was a great year for Nintendo, we got 2 directs, an awesome E3 spotlight, and an hour long switch presentation, the Nintendo Switch was a huge success, online was free throughout all 2017, there were huge exciting games coming out, and the new Zelda won game of the year! In 2020, we got a very disappointing direct mini along with nothing for e3, and the only really good games we got are Animal Crossing and Paper Zario (51 clubhouse games was alright too). Also, I like Xbox and Playstation, I just hate how everyone says Xbox & Playstation are so much better and calls Nintendo systems trash. I also completely prefer Nintendo's selection of games, mostly cause I'm autistic and have adhd, though Xbox and Playstation have some good games, but not enough to convert me. Plus Xbox's game selection was really bland, and majority of the library was FPS games, Playstation is the same as Xbox but with some great exclusives. I also prefer Nintendo cause I grew up with them, my first console was even an OG Xbox, then I was converted to Nintendo when the Wii and DS were new.
I was at work while I was watching this video and I jumped for joy when I saw Zelda was going to be a launch title for the switch. Everyone looked at me very oddly but that’s okay. 😅
Jhourdan that’s Nintendo for you. Never lowers their price for anything no matter how old it is. All Wii U games are still 60 bucks. Which makes no sense whatsoever because like why would you pay 60 bucks for MarioKart 8 on the old terrible Wii U console if the same game with all the paid DLC and more is 60 dollars on the switch!!?! Like Nintendo is so dumb if they were to lower game prices like those on the Wii U they might actually get some sales. No one in their right mind is gonna buy a Wii U game that’s still 60 dollars. If they were like PlayStation where they have so many sales and they lowered the prices of games that are 5 years old they would make a lot more money.
Just come back to watch this, and realize how bad people at sony compare to nintendo for presentation of their product, nintendo do the great job showing the system and the game with gameplay and build the hype for new console. PS5 presentation is really just show title game, which really not that impressive as they hav elack of gameplay only few have it, (GT, new ratchet). I wish people at Sony can learn a bit from this presentation
