I love it when people post about the guitar player but can't spell his name correctly. His name was spelled Randy Rhoads. I say "was," because he died in a freak plane crash in March 1982. He only recorded two albums with Ozzy, Blizzard of Ozz (1980) and Diary of a Madman (1981). If you liked or loved the guitar playing on this song, listen to those albums in full using headphones for the best effect. That was how I spent much of the early to mid-80s and Randy never disappoints. His sense of melody was brilliant.
@@BobbyTheScarecrow -- As a writer, I know that it is perfectly acceptable to use "was" in this situation. But yes, of course, it is still spelled the same way. Anyhow, if you want to correct me, typing "spelt" is not the way to do it. If you didn't know, spelt is a type of wheat. You meant "spelled." Now you should thank me, oh... and have a nice weekend.
Randy Rhoades died at age 25. The tour driver talked him on a plane and then the driver crashed it into the tour bus Ozzy in it then it hit a house. Randy's parents taught classical guitar. He was a prodigy and taught also. After the tour he was planning on going back and teaching again. He recorded 2 albums with OzzY , Blizzard of Oz and diary of a Madman. He is the reason OzzY had a career after being kicked out of Black Sabbath.
Ozzy aka The Prince Of Darkness is amazing. Try War Pigs by his first group Black Sabbath or Mama I'm Coming Home from his solo career. This song was on his Blizzard Of Oz album and yes Randy Rhoads was an absolute phenom on the guitar. Great reaction!! 🙂
That is Mr. Randy Rhoads my friend. Gone way too soon and doesn't get the recognition that he truly deserves. RIP Randy. This song has been in a bunch of movies. Ghost rider comes to mind most recently. Rhoads double tracked alot of his songs....all the guitar you hear is Randy.
Randy Rhoads: You cannot claim to be a fan of his and not know the correct spelling of his name. Don't be a poser. Show some respect and get it right, k? 🤣
This version has the original guitar parts but the original bass and drums were re-recorded so Sharon Osbourne wouldn't have to pay the original bass player and drummer.
Randy Rhoades. RIP 😢
Rhoads
Somehow this comment reminded me of 'Black Sheep': Roo-aadddds lol
Nonetheless, RIP Mr. Randy Rhoads.
Randy rhoads. The greatest guitarist to ever exist

His name is still spelt the same way even after his death. There is no "was" in that situation.

My absolute FAV! Loved Ozzy for decades! This is so relevant now! At 62 I’m still rocking as loud as I can! That badass guitarist is Randy Rhoads.
Ohh I’m sooo loving your facial expressions! 🤣🤣 Thank you for making my day 😏 ✌🏻🤟🏻😎
He was one of Ozzy's best friends the late great Randy Rhoades. R.I.P. 🎸

Yeah, man Ozzy!
Good reaction, that was guitarist Randy Rhoads.
Quiet Riot and Ozzy blessed with the greatest, randy.
Ozzy is the frontman kid. Randy is the man behind the guitar. The band is Black Sabbath
The late Randy Rhoads. RIP.
If you saw the movie Trolls 2 - World Tour, this song is in, and Ozzy does the the voice of the Rock Queen's father.
Metal should be at 10 on the volume or youre doing it wrong! Although at 51, I do wear earplugs when I play! But when I LISTEN... just saying.
I love this song but I hate how many people can't spell Randy Roads
You literally just spelled it wrong
Nice!! can't help stupid
Rhoads
Who is this? Who are you!!!
This version has the original guitar parts but the original bass and drums were re-recorded so Sharon Osbourne wouldn't have to pay the original bass player and drummer.
Plus it was supposed to be a band called Blizzard of Oz and not Ozzy solo. Again Sharon and her dad interfered.
@@YouTubularizethe bass and drums sound sloppy in this version compared to the original IMO
did you say turn it down a bit ????
I agree randy was the best
Cant lie the tribute album was better randy rhoads ❤
Whoever captioned this video needs a spelling test.
Ugh....those lyrics are not right!
Poor acting skills pretending you've never heard it
