- I purchased essential accessories for my new BMW R1250GS Adventure mainly to protect key components and for long distance travel. I had fun installing them and had the chance to thoroughly test each item during my 13,000 km cross country trip I took immediately after installation.
Loving everything about the bike so far. More videos to come.
You might consider putting links to the various accessories. Thanks for putting together the video
Nice.
links for each accessory would be very useful.
Thanks.
Gorgeous bike...Safe ride!

HI TSR - I I am planning a similar trip on mt GS for spring 2025.. Could I contact you privately about your routes/GPX files?
@@alphamike9560 ,, I don’t have GPX files unfortunately (I never do on any of my trips 😊). If you are referring to the Alaska trip, I didn’t deviate from the main routes. I took Alaska highway all the way from Prince George to Whitehorse and headed north to Dawson City, crossed over to Tok via Top of the World Hwy, Fairbanks and finally Prudhoe Bay via Dalton Hwy. I returned via Cassiar Hwy (Stewart/Haider, Prince George) through BC back Vancouver. Easily doable on a GS provided you have good tires (at least 70/30). Warning… Loose gravel and hard packed surface look alike over the Tundra on Dalton. Be careful and slow down (a lot) if you are not sure. Good luck!
Nice job!
Where did you get the handguard extensions? And the driving light covers
Ebay
Hi, what tires are you riding? Thanks!
Metzler Tourance Next 2 at the moment. They are best on tarmac and twisty roads. Don’t ride off-road.
Good job!!!👍
What headlight protector are you using?
From eBay. Wanted something simple and clear without a metal frame. I wanted the entire headlight to be fully visible. Inexpensive but has done its job well over 22,000kms including 2 cross country trips.
I wish you lucky miles with your gsa. Greetings from lake constance ( germany)😅
Must have been a great ride! Wonderful impressions! Thanks - and one question: Did the quick shifter come in handy, did you use it quite often?
Yes it was, thanks. Will be sharing video clips of the trip soon. I use the quick shifter mostly between 4-6 gears. It’s smooth on higher gears and comes very handy especially when riding fast on tight corners.
👍👍👍
