I was watching this interview with him I think it was AOL, came out a few months ago, but he basically said, he's not the white guy trying to act black, he's just a white dude that lives with black people. Not trying to be the stereotype. He's just a regular guy who likes black culture. Plus in his act he ask questions if he doesn't understand something. He sometimes doesn't know things and messes up but it comes from a genuine place which people appreciate.
