I ordered a stark several years ago when they were announced. Went with 80HP. I don’t think I’ve used above level 3. In a terrible rider. I also have a modded SurRon… totally different game on the stark. Great video!!
I crack up at you all, but somehow the riding I take serious through all the fun. You've used the Varg like no one else and convinced me it's a very cool motorcycle beyond, you know, lookin so damned hot
Great video Greta. The elephant in the room is the 130lb diff in weight. Also, trail riding is not a horsepower game. Get a dialed Talaria ( brakes and suspension) and you'd give the Stark a run for it's money on tight single track. I know I can trash ktm 300s on my XXX. Yes, real dirt bikes are way more awesome. Nice however to get away from the noise, clutch, heat and gears. Just sing through the bush and enjoy the day.
That bike is truly amazing . Unfortunately I won’t be entering as I’m in the uk and it’s just not viable getting it here . But for someone who’s closer to you I’m positive they will be over the moon 👍

I designed a 75 lb ebike with a cvt transmission, 26kw on tap, 8 inches of travel front and rear, and a frame with geometry and seat height that can be lowered and altered on the fly. I had a stroke and lost my investors shortly after I finished testing the drivetrain test bike, and it was epic. It would be awesome if I could collaborate with you guys and Grind Hard Plumbing to get one built before my meat suit poops out. GOt a big empty shop full of metal fab equipment in AZ right now. I just need help with 3d cad and part fab. I still have most of the hard to get parts like the 8m pcgt belt drive pulley stock, the Hammerschmidt, and NuVinci.
@@MattSpears The guy that founded the Redbull Rampage trails in Utah rode the drivetrain test bike and almost broke his face smiling. It's a pretty funny video. It would literally rip your shoes off and shoot down the block before I figured out the throttle ramping. Happy to send you some videos and cad files. I just want to see someone make it happen at this point, which would be "easy" for someone better with solidworks or freecad.

You can put a Sotion motor and get those surrons and get up to like 40-50hp lol but the suspension travel and wheel base always will be limiting factors
One thing I learnt in life is you pay for what you get. Every single time I try to save $$$ I end up paying more and having 2 items ( you have no idea how many times it's happened)
also if you can get a video person to put the incline stat or draw it against a tree, because it fools the perspective even with the trees visible in most of the video literally at a ridiculous angle to the ground. I live in Oregon and I know very well what hills like that look like and they're not so much hills as scree covered cliffs. ;-) maybe a couple big sticks hinged together like a school protractor that read out a giant incline display lol

I just hit 1000 subscribers on UA-cam in real life and in the dream My Dad was buying me an e-moto to celebrate and it's at that point that my brain realized it was a dream and I woke up. I really wasn't ready to wake up, I was really enjoying hanging out with my Dad again.
While I still enjoyed watching the comparison, I think it is worth mentioning that the surrons are essentially mountain bikes and use alot of mtn bike parts, so the brakes are woefully underpowered. You probably glazed them over going down the hill climb.

It must be. 1,000 entries seems like a low estimate and that would be $25,000 minus the small discount for multi entries. I would assume 5-10,000 entries at $25 so do the math. I want to do a giveaway.
That's what I kept wondering cuz he keeps going on about 2500 and I don't know where the hell he's imagining he's there a surron for only being 2500 unless it's been ridden hard and had little to no maintenance in the process of doing so. I'm not putting down the stark varg by any means as they spent millions of dollars to develop it and it is completely different than any other electric dirt bike that's for sure but let's be honest and admit that surron was well over the 2500 to the tune of like half the price at least as the varg. Problem with that is you're getting a fraction of the technology and design that went into the varg.
