  • This is Part 2, after catching our first Snapper for the season and a ripper gummy (previous episode), we headed south to Quail Bank. We ABSOLUTELY SMASHED THE SQUIDDIES, catching 14 and some BIG ones. #squid #westernport #snapper #squidfishing

Great catch mate. Well done. Would be good though if you can adjust the angle of your camera. Definitely will attract more viewers for you

Thanks, l appreciate any advice. Are you talking about my chest mounted camera?. I usually have more footage from the binimi mounted camera, and l mixed up the 2 camera footage, with some from a 3rd camera, in the water. But that didn't seem to happen as much in this vid. I think it was due to fishing with both the kids and my daughter was standing in front of me a bit. Also, as we had forgotten the net, l had to reach into the water to grab squid, so you lose footage when you do that...cheers. l hope you can SUBSCRIBE and enjoy future vids, there will be heaps this season👍🎣🦑

You have to have drag on your reel when fishing for squid

The first big one l caught took line off, so the drag was set...the one l lost, had a couple of big runs before l put the go pro on. The leg was weakened by this, as the leg that was attached to the jig was ripped up from the 2 rows of barbs from the jig. More bad luck than anything
