Does anybody really see that Akala was rapping for almost 5 minutes straight without any hooks. That in itself is amazing. Then factor in the actual depth of his lyrics, Akala shouldn't have any down votes but I realize that there's always going to be haters.

I'm personally not much of a fan of Akala's flow these days (go back and listen to "Shakespeare" if you doubt he has it within him) however to say he has nothing to say is pretty damn ignorant... Like have you even listened to this?!? It says more in the first line than 90% of what you hear on a street corner regardless of city! He's been on Ted talks and a variety of media platforms; even voicing his say against the BDL & Tony Robinson in a coherent manner. Whether he's to your tastes or not... This man is a MAJOR talent and thank god I'm from the uk where that's got him recognition.

Stunning. Him, Mic Righteous, Lowkey and Logic are bringing up the UK. Immortal Technique, Canibus and Hasan Salaam for the U.S.

FInally hit a Million and deserves triple that. Nice to see progress still being made nearly 4 years after release.

Love this, his commentary on the lyrical subject matter, meanings and purposes in the rapping of what seems to be the majority of rappers nowadays is just so true and to the point

We need more rappers like his, he has flow and talks about hings that everyday people can relate to, unlike 99% of other so called MC's out there.

Akala is so amazing, he talks about the world and its problems and how blind people are to them, unlike most rappers talking about drugs, girls, fighting and how much better they are on the 'scene'. Akala is truely inspiring

Akala left me speechless. And I listen to immortal technique, Lupe fiasco, and lowkey....desecration of everything hip hop is right now. Finally
