Homeboy in the middle was damn near having a spiritual awaking 😂😂😂 love to see it! React to part 4!
Hahaha my thoughts exactly.
Was about to comment the same thing.
I caught that too!
😂😂😂😂
Yep. Never seen him so engaged. Guy on the left didn’t know how to shut up and listen tho.
You gotta do akala part 4 maybe best fitb ever definitely a contender
Definitely the best
Akala is one of my favorite rappers of all time and I’m American.
Part 2 is also great
Part 4 is just nuts.
💯
There is so much talent in the UK, and so many artists are so different !
He has a part 2,3, &4 which are all top tier too
Akala is the Godfather of UK rap, a legend. He is so intelligent and the way he flows is insane. 🇬🇧
Godfather is stretching it. I’d say Giggs is, before 2006/2007 when giggs blew up on the scene Uk never really had an established hip hop scene it was mainly Garage/Grime in its early years
@@ct9122 Smiley Culture, London Posse, Mud fam, Chester P etc? things have been popping off over here since the 80's my g.
Godfather? Come on man.
There’s been MCs in the UK for decades
@@lokibrux u clearly didnt understand what i said 🤦🏻♂️
@@ct9122 giggs is grime gone to far. Early drill one could even say.
Akala is not the godfather, that can go to Wiley. (Garage/grime) is rap and Wiley changed it up. Akala is akala and he has had the positive effect on us he wanted. Uk rap though is just on a crazy different level and we have so many talented rappers it’s hard to say one is better than the other.
Akala is a beast of the UK scene.
You should check out dave Black Live at the Brits
Dave moans about racism. Akala states facts.
@@ava-roseannis6667 I mean Dave also speaks facts, but you're entitled to your opinion
Im a white bloke from Australia and love the truth of this! Well done. We need more of that
who ever suggested this 👌
Akala is such an eloquent and articulate man with a vast array of knowledge on so many social issues within the UK. Absolutely love his work! and this FITB is hhhaaarrrdddd🤙🔥🔥
Akala is an articulate, educated, well travelled, self made business man, Has a few albums, a few books, has created stageplays. He smashes TV debates and there is a UA-cam video of him lecturing at Oxford University. This is just from memory. He is badass. I have read his book "Natives: Race & Class in the Ruins of Empire". He talks about his upbringing and history of black people in the UK, plus sections about colonisation. Get it. READ READ.
I loved this reaction, you guys were locked in. You can see that the truth hit them all to some degree.
Man, you guys have only scratched the surface!
More Akala and more UK rap. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Just found you guys. Great reaction
There’s 4 parts too. I love him! He talks truth.
First time on your channel, love your reactions. The facials expressions was like mine the first time I saw him. I looked for part 4 but couldn’t see if you’d done it. You NEED TO
Y'all gotta check out Lowkey - Fire in the booth. Another mindblowing british lyricist!!
You need to do Akala part 4 it is crazy crazy!
you hear enough yarns then you just want the truth
Love to see you guys going in casually talking about Star Wars and gradually waking up to the force itself! You didn't expect nothing of this calibre. And the beauty is nobody does... Too bad you didn't catch the Cartier line from him though. Now as any reaction channel on the internet has to do: part 4. Good luck
yeah my comment to make was they need to pause when talking and then rewind 10 secs. They missed so many epic lines. Haha lyrics on screen could help too.
YESSS, MY FAVOURITE FITB!!!!!! Part 2 and 4 go wayyyy harder they are truly amazing
World class bars in there. One of the best fire in the booths. Big respect for Akala.
Welcome back fellas...great reaction my first time hearing him too I'm blown away thanks💯
Akala is a genius he does countless lectures at all the top universities he owns his own companies travels the world spreading knowledge and educating the youth he’s a national treasure who needs to be protected at all costs
Great reaction guys. Check out his other Fire in the booths. Love from Manchester UK 🇬🇧💖 x
Akala is our Treasure here in the UK. He is a highly intellectual individual who has written many books, given lectures in Oxford university like Malcolm X and travels all over the world campaigning.
I so desperately want to join his movement but with all the racism in the world and social media, it is so difficult to connect or reach out to him. If anyone knows of his official contact details, please respond to this message. In the mean time, I will continue to read his books and study everything he has to throw at me. Absolutely fabulous Akala.
I also have to give thanks to the security guard at Lewisham College in London who described Akala to me (4 years ago) in every single way possible but just couldn't quite remember Akala's name. However, I took on board the information provided and did some intensive research online, found Akala and have never looked back. Now I have a few of Akala's books.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Akala because you speak for me and so many others in the world and you are I believe simply one of the greatest!
I’ve listened to akala since I was a teen so underrated as a rapper guy is a philosopher and speaks facts 100 per cent
Loved your reaction guys, you have a new subscriber here! Akala is a national treasure to those in the know in the UK - he doesn't get radio play or much mainstream recognition, but he has built himself a massive fan base practically just off of UA-cam. He is also a social activist, he has delivered Ted Talks and lectures at the Oxford Union debating society, he is a published author and all round solid dude (I was lucky enough to meet him briefly at Notting Hill Carnival before he was really famous).
If you want more Akala suggestions, everyone will tell you to watch his Fire in the Booth part 4. It is long, but it is a masterpiece. This was recorded when he was very early in his career - part 4 is him after 10 years of perfecting his craft. There is a deep catalogue you can check out, my personal favourites are The Journey (ft Mic Righteous), Murder Runs The Globe as well as his two daily dupoy performances.
Wait until you hear part 4. It's a must watch.
Another guy you should react to on the same level and their good friends is Mic Righteous Fire in the booth part 3. That's legendary and sits alongside Akalas part 4
Agreed Mic's 3rd is my favourite too alongside his 1st
100% part 4 Is God Tier Level yo!
Agreed , another legend to listen to : Chester P 💯
Please do more UK reactions, you're entering the best rap scene on the planet. Definitely listen to Akala's FITB part 2 and 4, also Wretch 32 & Avelino's FITB is a classic worth checking out
The best rap scene on the planet🧐
Y'know, ... I think Akala is the first artist I heard who made grime sound WORTH listening to for me.
Great reaction.
Love seeing people discover Akala.
The realest of the real and real recognise real.
Respect from Scotland
Akala Fire In The Booth part 4 is a must watch. He's a legend here in the UK,
Ahh you've discovered Britain's prophet, good stuff, your life is about to become richer. Listen to his words, there's genuine lessons in there.
1456😮, King Akala is our best, then I...
Ya all lucky enough to have part 2, 3 & 4 to react to aswell…P4 arguably the best!
Oh no you’ve discovered Akala, Ms Dynamites younger brother. One of British’s smartest mathematicians, the guy is genius. Been to see him live. Speaks pure facts. Listen to carried away 🔥🔥 another great reaction 👍🏼👍🏼👊🏼
Remember miss dynamite? "Boo" was fucking fantastic. I miss garage.
Omg her actual brother? Mind blown 🤯
@@lauraspence8899 yeah
Yeah he's sick live!
Say What? Dynamites bro. For Real? Goddamn I haven't heard spitting like this since the Golden Age of Hip-Hop and I'm shell-shocked.
So many bars in this, spitting real facts. He’s the English version of immortal Technique, both have that talk
Akala is a British treasure over here. Man has a beautiful mind.
As brit who has been to a few of Akala's lectures. Middle guy understood the assignment, just sit back and absorb the knowledge, then research later

Akala is something special - Please check out his Fire in the Booth (Part 4) to see the progression of a master (The last part will blow you away) - If you like Topboy please check out Kano - Fire in the Booth (Kano plays Sully in Top Boy) his performance is outstanding. Also check out Little Simz - Venom and Little Simz - Introvert - Little Sims plays Shelley in Topboy as is one of the greatest UK rappers. Also you should check out Mic Righteous Fire in the Booths start at part 1 and go from there, part 1 onwards show a progression to rival and US rapper
Totally agree! The spoken word part is as deep and knowledgeable you will hear but if you like it check 'Chester P DJ gone freestyle' has my favourite bar of all time "Don't you ever think that the kiddies listen to your lyrics??? You ain't selling them the guns but you're selling them the image!!" From a 20+ year old freestyle but it's so prophetic and could have been spat this morning
Shit man if this makes your top 5 I can't wait to see you really dig into UK hiphop. We got some straight up killers over here man. Wretch 32, Mic Righteous, Akala, Avalino, Ghetts, Lowkey to name just a few. You should check em out 🤜🤛
Yes Low-key is especially another favourite of mine, not just because of his lyrics but because of his activism.
Damn
Pt 2 , 3 , 4 to go please do them in order you see his progression don't listen to the 🔔🔚s telling you to do pt 4 ✌❤🇬🇧
When you have finished reacting to Akala's fire in the booths, all four. You have to check out Lowkey's!
Was scrolling for a lowkey comment, truth.
Yo Cartier guys! Akala is awesome.. I saw him live at the Maze in Nottingham (UK) about 4 years ago, he absolutely killed it. Keep going with your vids : )

Didnt know if yall would be into Akala but happy to see yall loving it
I’m so glad you chose this
Can’t wait for you to do the other three parts. And do Lowkey 🔥
You have lifted the lid on one hell of a rabbit hole, UK hip hop has been the spiritual home of hip hop for many years now, lyricists abound in the UK, you have to check out all 4 of his FITBs, then start your journey into some of hip hops finest, you have to check out wretch 32/Avelino FITB, it is legendary as well as mic righteous/reckless, definitely lowkey if its truth you seek, Getts, fredo, the list goes on, dave doing black at the brits live, dive in fellas there is so much to hear!
Ayyy! Yous boys ain't got on Lowkey - Fire in the Booth (parts 1 & 2) yet!
Lookin forward to it 🔥🔥🔥
I've seen many MANY reactions to Akala, but this is one of the best. More please!
Soo glad you enjoyed this, please do part 4!
I’m soo happy yous appreciate this💯 keep it lit gang 🔥
Hey just subscribed cause i wanna see you do all 4! Part 2 is even better
You need to do part 4 guys!
This guy is on another level. He is a genius in so many fields!
Deep historical meaningful bars.. no one better than akala.. he lectures at universities, makes his own script, books, teaches kids and takes them around the globe, has his own plays. That's only a quarter of what he does. Rapping is only a small part of his entrepreneurial background.
Yall imagine being taught of akala through bars and rhymes. The man is a legend over here but not in the spotlight because of what he knows and spits. He hasn't had a track on day time radio for 20+ years because he owns his own record label so he spits what he wants.
React to more of him guys ❤️
Akala is amazing! Very smart guy
ive been waiting for you guys to discover akala. he is a master of his craft. next kano from top boys fire in the booth!
Akala is another level. Saw him live in a tiny venue back in 2008, he was so good
This reaction really excited me! Akala is just ridiculous
part 4 is even better. you also need to check out poison penmanship by rhyme asylum. genuinely haven’t heard more bars in a single song
AKALA is a uk leg3nd guys. Hope u enjoyed it as much as we did.
After you've done Akala part 2 3 and 4 you need to Check out all of Mic Righteous fire in the booth 💪🏽💯
Big up for this, from London 👊🏻👊🏻 both the main characters from Top Boy (Sully and Dushane) are legends and pillars in the UK music scene and how they made their first bags. Check some of their work out: Asher D (Dushane) and Kano (Sully). Plenty of other artists, particularly the London-grown Grime scene. You're basically opening up doors to a whole new ball game here bro, and I'm glad I got here as you're just starting. You gotta check out my homegrown legends: Skepta "Mike Lowery" and JME & Giggs "Man Don't Care". There's better examples of Skepta, I just can't think of them, but he was the main influence on Drake when he switched up his image to 'badman' 😎🤣
We love top boy here glad your also enjoying it in the states would love to see some of your reactions to the best moments !!
Good to see you got to my request. Love the reaction 😂😂 brilliant
Gotta do his fitb 4, Lowkey fitb 1 & 2 and Mic Righteous fitbs…..sure you’ll enjoy all of them if you liked this.
So glad you mans found Akala. Check all 4 parts of the baddest fire in da booth there is. akala smash most MCs and stand shoulder to shoulder with ANYONE.
Big up 👊🏾
Love your reaction videos. 52yr old Dis abled British Army Veteran. Not a fan of new hip hop or UK grime in truth. But some artists are just awesome. Been into hip hop since pre 79 rappers delight. When dj kool herc and groups like funky four plus one etc. My fav era as former megafit soldier/athlete freestyle street and break dancer. 85 to.98, esp boom bap.
Knowledge dropping artists are my fav.
Jeru da damajas "you can't stop the prophet" saved my life in 95.
Akala is next level in his own league.
Everything Akala Does is Pure. enjoy all 4!👍🇨🇦
