This is a welcome update as it demonstrates that this indeed is a template for all upcoming urban center because we are seeing additional services being requested such as the proposed 4 story medical complex and the additional space for micro business. There is no doubt that St Thomas is now the envy of all other parishes. What we need now is the private sector and ambitious Jamaicans to invest in the housing stock. There is a lot of land to allow the town to grow and I would not be surprise that Morant Bay will see an upgrade to city status. Commendation to the honorable Prime Minister for having this great vision. If the PM can get this done less than 5 years in his second mandate then imagine what Portmore will be when it becomes a parish
The chairman is being optimistic. Those dates are likely stretch goals. The real completion date he told the prime minister is probably around June 2025. Anything sooner is a bonus.
Can you ask if /when will there be solar enegy cells placed on these buildings, especially, the Government buildings to be energy efficient and cost effective. It would be towards 2030 goals in green energy and footprint in Jamaica.
When will the work start on portland Town centre as a portlander I am anxious to started to all involved as a Jamaican I just want say thank to the prime minister and his team you are real patriot

Hope they get that medical block done soon in the next layout
Ask about underground parking to utilize space to accomodate future growth of the center and surrounding businesses.
