"Drinking Jack With Daddy" is a song about being "a real, real boy".
According to COMANAVAGO's words, the song is about Luke being a soft boy and trying to live up to the patriarchal expectations of him being a big strong man, hence he's drinking Jack Daniel's with his father to show that he's actually a real man.

Hello everyone! Long time, no see!
It's been less than two weeks since Luke released his song "Winter Dahlia" (and me making and uploading my FAMV for the song) when suddenly, in the beginning of May, he announced and released the song we all have been waiting for more than 10 months, and that is "Drinking Jack With Daddy"!
I still can't believe that the song is finally out after more than 10 months!
And about the FAMV for the song itself, I was making this since late March (but I started developing ideas and the scenario for the video back in june 2023, when Luke sang the song for the very first time at his Sleep Forever show - Round I in London) and I am so glad I finally managed to finish the animation and I hope you guys are gonna love it!

Time taken : Less than 1 and a half months (actually I've been working on this video since late March and I thought I was going to finish and upload this on May 24th or later, but since Luke announced and released the song way earlier than I expected, I finished and uploaded this earlier as well and here's the new video after 2 weeks hahahah)
