Tweedy and Stirratt sound so good here, especially Stirratt for nailing Tweedy’s notoriously halting and idiosyncratic delivery. “Later with Jools Holland” was (pretty sure it’s around anymore, or am I wrong?) an incredible showcase for musicians to capture and broadcast tight, intimate performances on well-lit, beautifully designed stages. This show could never exist in America- not enough fabricated drama.
Later is a great format and Jools is a fantastic wierdo. If you watch the whole show Wilco comes across so bad ass,I think there was some kind of two synth dance group on also :-)
Kotche. Best drummer I seen play. Art of Almost.
This rocks... A lot of these 4-piece versions of songs aren't the best, but this one sounds great stripped down.

It's still going! Still good, but the sound is often pretty bad... I actually think it sounds better here in 2002!

2:17 . Brilliant
Good fellows.
When they were a 4 piece after Jay Bennett left, Leroy Bach carried the band.
