Hopefully you guys applied sunscreen before going to the roof. I’n my Dept. we have to apply sunscreen before roof opps. Don’t want no nasty skin cancer
No SCBA guys! That's childish and irresponsible. You don't have to risk your lives on the roof of a burning building, all you have to do is put the fire out and access the attic areas through the ceilings. What are you going to do, haul a hose up there to put the fire out under your feet? A lot of wasted manpower.
We fight fires in similar type buildings in my city, and YES, you DO have to get up on the roof to open up those voids to find and extinguish the fire traveling in those voids. They usually cannot be reached from the interior.
Always reassuring seeing those hooks coming through the ceiling when you're pushing in.
Strong truckie work right there.. that was one of those reno roof over roofs!!
Nice work! Use this as good training
That’s funny. Training for what? Go ahead, be specific.
@@JBart3112 for assholes like yourself who doesn't care about training
AND THAT , throwing hydration to your brothers and sisters, IS HOW it is done in the FD.
“We need a line up here.”
And while you’re at it, send up our SCBAs. We forgot ‘em.

The members on the roof with no SCBA is unacceptable. Shame on them!
Goofy yellow helmets and big gawky eye shields , but they look cool without air paks
And those helmets saved many lives over the years
