My 1996 Grand Cherokee Laredo had 364,000 miles on it when I traded it to a guy who built a shed for us in 2016. I was the original owner and it had the original engine. I did have to do some transmission work on it but never had to get it totally replaced. There were a few brake and tire changes over the years too. But, for the most part, just kept up with oil changes. When it was time to get a new car, I checked out all the other SUVs on the market...none could compare to the Jeep...so, I got a Cherokee Limited and love it.
The tiny American flag emblem doesn't make up for a modern drivetrain. Is it a hybrid engine at the very least? Although I would prefer an electric with a massive 500 mile range. 😒
I have to say, I like it. I grew up riding in the back seat of my dad's 88 Grand Wagoneer. As an adult, I have owned a ZJ, a WJ, and currently drive my 08 WK CRD every day. I am a big GC fan and I love how this design pays tribute to the past while advancing the platform forward. Nicely done.
This is an incredible piece of architecture. Jeep does not make vehicles anymore. The Jeep brand provides work of art to the human species which I am greatful for. Thank you Jeep
I have a 1999Jeep. Grand Cherokee Laredo with 154000 miles and still runs great. The most dependable car I have ever owned. Bought 2019 Jeep Cherokee Latitude Plus V6 engine love the looks of it but was not very roomy so I bought a Grand Cherokee Limited V 6 engine and love it. Very roomy and drives like a charm. I had such good luck with the 1999 I decided to go back to the Jeep. Drove other suv and Jeep got A+
The Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer is going to be much bigger and more capable when it comes to cargo space and towing capacity than the Grand Cherokee L. The short version of the revamped Grand Cherokee is coming in the summer of this year as a 2022 model year.
Good job Jeep! I just got a 2021 Laredo and I love it! It’s nice how you guys are still offering this vehicle as a two row unlike a lot of its competitors. The inside is stunning!
holy smoke it's the best looking Jeep ever. I grew up in a Jeep family since 60's but last Jeep we purchased was a 2000 Grand Cherokee. perfect timing as I was looking to replace current RX350 with something slightly larger with comfortable rides with latest tech and safety features.
2019 Grand Cherokee High Altitude owner here. Interior looks excellent. Jury is still out on the exterior, but as a high altitude owner, I'm into the blackout package and only need two rows. Interested to see what a high altitude equivalent package holds as I'll be purchasing a new vehicle in 2022.

Jeep is forced to emulate and compete like other the large brands such as the Lincoln Navigator and the Chevrolet suburban, hence the 3rd row seating. It's basically right now a luxury version of the Durango.
I got a 2020 altitude in September and I agree! Let’s hope that when the regular grand Cherokee is revealed it miiiiight be kinda like a Cherokee vs Grand Cherokee design difference? Lol

Well, to be fair, who doesn't use robots in the course of mass manufacture of automobiles around the entire world, even to the smallest degree? Robots merely handle aspects of assembly that would be too monotonous and hazardous for human workers. On the other hand, the engineering and design aspects all have to be done by people. That's likely what was meant about the team who worked tirelessly.

I've been saving up for the newly redesigned 5 seater Grand Cherokee SRT to purchase in May 2022. Please do not disappoint! All I ask is that the SRT trim still keeps its sporty and aerodynamic features while still incorporating the new design.
I just purchased a new to me 1999 Cherokee XJ. It has what I want, the inline 6 is the best engine. It is a Southern Jeep with zero rust, and original exhaust. It is going to replace my 2012 Wrangler, except in the winter when there is salt on the road. The unreliable 2012 can rust out. Now that FIAT owns Jeep, I would even think about a new one at all.

Chrysler has really upped their game these last few years with the Jeep and Ram products. Hope reliability improves along with the great looking and capable vehicles.

It's very simple Gerhard. Many people want the Grand Cherokee, but 2-rows is not enough for larger family's who require the 3rd row, resulting in Jeep missing out on a massive market. This is going to change the game for Jeep sales making their sales sky rocket.

I´m very proud to have a Grand Cherokee WJ V8 4.7 H.O. Overland in germany. The vehicle is in great condition, like a new one. With All Terrain tires and 2 inches higher. Black in black. Stay healthy...
I waited so long for the RWD Ford Explorer and when it came out I went out looking for an SUV and now a 2016 GC Summit is on my drive way. I know now what's my next SUV.... GC L.
