Ive been saying the city holds 2k back from "Next Gen" potential because of the amount of resources being used. 2k has to get back to what made them #1 which is gameplay, graphics and features. And why cant we get a Mycourt back but last gen does?
NBA street will not change 2Ks sales in the slightest or make them change anything at all. But a new NBA streets game would be pretty fun to play. We do need a competing sim NBA game though. That will make them change their ways and hopefully try again.

Get rid of all the other BS like MyTeam, MyLeague online, MyGM and we don’t need to play Jordan’s most famous games every year on 2K.
This is why I find it interesting that people are clamoring for a new NFL2K game. Even if the license was opened up and they could make that game, 2K has become just as bad as EA in some re$pect$.
Nice to see COLLEGE FOOTBALL 25 is now a very good game and much better than all Madden games since 13 to 25 and better than NBA 2K18 to 2K22 and 2K24. Lets see how NBA 2K25 can respond to this.
Former EA developers are currently working on a NBA Street Spirtual Successor called The Run: Got Next. Even if it's good, I'm not sure how an arcade style basketball game would compare and compete with a realistic style basketball simulation game.
Wish you took a more deeper dive into myteam. Since the all star break they’ve dropped these “100 Overall cards”, Invincible cards, and Goat that all have 99 stats and are the same card. These cards are only available via packs and can’t be bought without gambling. All the Galaxy Opals and Dark Matters were also only available via gambling until a certain point. It’s the most predatory game mode I’ve personally ever seen in a video game
Gameplay definitely changed and you could tell in 2k24 just how great pro play is, and it SHOULD BE IN MADDEN. It would fix a lot of issues that the frostbite engine struggles with and bring real and authentic animation rather than just paying an actor.
If EA get stuck without the NBA license, they could also make a game based on the Proam scene like "Big 3". Since it is more a street-based style game, it fits the online system. It'll be like your own "The Next Chapter" online, where you can create 1v1, 3v3, 5v5 specific game modes for players to play alongside HoF retired ballers in that league like Joe Johnson and Michael Beasley.
Also, I think EA should actually go after the college basketball market. They've done it with CFB 25, now they can do it with CBB. I think that would be a good competitor with 2K.

Ive been saying the city holds 2k back from "Next Gen" potential because of the amount of resources being used. 2k has to get back to what made them #1 which is gameplay, graphics and features. And why cant we get a Mycourt back but last gen does?
2K and EA are trash..can people please have HIGHER STANDARDS!!!!
NBA street will not change 2Ks sales in the slightest or make them change anything at all. But a new NBA streets game would be pretty fun to play.
We do need a competing sim NBA game though. That will make them change their ways and hopefully try again.
Ex EA workers are working on a game called The run: got next and it’s online 3v3 nba street successor. Coming out next year!!
I Came Here Literally To Say This. My Algorithm Recommended This To Me & On Facebook I Just Seen This 😂
Hella! Can’t wait for it
4:45 don’t give them ideas
we need nba live back to challenge 2k fr
Fan of 2K since 2k9 , but playing 2K now is not the same happiness can give to you unlike the old version
NBA Live to need make a comeback. 💯💯💯
I’ve been on a 2 year break, 20 & 22 were the last 2ks I enjoyed and before that 16-18 was the only time I stuck through consecutively. One can wish & hope for better
Everyone plz stop spending money on micro transactions for 2k we need to band together like the helldivers community
“In game costs” is an utterly insane statement, what a total shame where sports games have gone.
Voice of the people ✊️
You hit on it with this year’s PC version being new gen: MODS! There are so many incredible modders out there and I have no doubt they can take 2K’s mediocre to terrible graphics and make them amazing. They’ll also be able to add missing players like Barkley, Miller, Sheed, etc. Let’s just hope this year’s gameplay is decent because that’s the one thing modding can’t really change.
Let us play myplayer offline with no limitations!
Walking around the city is like walking in GTA 3, with NO CAR
BABE WAKE UP SOFTDRINKTV DROPPED AGAIN
They are going to cut back more graphics to squeeze in the unwanted WNBA features inside the unwanted city.
I just want EA to focus on bringing back college basketball with the same details they did for football
I don't want EA to produce any sports games
@@novideostoday well 2k isn’t going to give me college basketball and EA actually did a really good job with football this time
@@justlogan6979they actually didn’t. The game is a madden reskin with all the same exact problems
@@EGuala21 nah they did yall just want to down EA anyway you can. CFB25 damn near might have saved EA.
@@gbmtboogie829 college football 25 has a stadium named university of phoenix stadium. A stadium that hasn’t existed since 2018 in a college game that hasn’t existed since 2013. Yet here your dumb ass is saying it’s not a madden reskin. What a clown show
I tried the 10 hr College Football 25 trial and then fell in love and it felt like they actually put work into the game, it’s way more fun than 2K even though I prefer basketball but there is no good basketball game
I wish THQ would make a NBA Game
THQ Nordic is kinda going through a rough patch if I'm not mistaken
The glory days of 2k do not APPEAR to be over. They have been over for years. Giving them this much credit for MyEras just shows how far the bar has fallen with them. They do one great thing a decade.
Do a madden 02 retrospective
Still playing 23 until it dies, then I'll switch to 24 that I got on sale for $25.
I don't pay full price for live service games and I never will.
Nba 2k is so bad these days and the company has become nothing but a grift. I hate that there is no competition
That's embarrassing
Nba 2k14 was one of the best looking basketball games. The trailer shows the emotion. The lightning is what made me want a ps4 to play it on.
next gen version for PC, frickin finally ! I been wanting a basketball game to play forever
BRING BACK CREATING A LEGEND MODE
College football is not all that
Neither is Madden
Yes it is
I agree they stripped everything out of dynasty and turned it into recruiting only
Gameplay feels far worse than madden. I feel like madden 25 is gonna be better because madden 24 is already better than cf25. Only reason to play cfb is because it’s more novel and a change up from the league story to a college story
@@raeshamouskeys3281 yall clearly just want madden to be better when right now its clearly not Madden ait wat it use to be so I don't even wanna hear it
You can see with the replay cam that the photo mode renders more clearly what’s in focus. So those graphics that they show in pictures aren’t even what we play with.
Been calling the pay to play concept sinxe 2008. It was so easy to see that is coming sooner than later. Amd each year we are closer and closer. GTA showed them how it can work.
"this footage is so old, it had ben simmons scoring" killed me🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀
You are spot on with the NBA street part. Especially if it would have the option for a well worked out story mode based on movies like He Got Game/White Men Can't Jump, or any great basketball movie plot. I really hope 2K is at its ending, so other companies should step up and reinvent the landscape
I wish they would bring back a trophy case it would be bad ass to see all the buddies I had in the city to show up on the sidelines of my games
Bring back Create A Legend. Update MyLeague. It’s way past due. Bring in player’s court side interviews again both in MyCareer and MyLeague. A split screen interview after the game w the TNT cast would be dope. Also, WNBAs popularity is increasing. I think they deserve more than just 1 season worth of play. Get rid of all the other BS like MyTeam, MyLeague online, MyGM and we don’t need to play Jordan’s most famous games every year on 2K.
thanks. However, if it doesn't have the classic Suns (Barkley) and Pacers (Reggie Miller) teams, then i have zero need for it.
10:57 what is this instrumental or song??? Please I need to know 🙏🏾
This is why I find it interesting that people are clamoring for a new NFL2K game.
It’s time to bring back nba live/nba street game back for competition
Man, an old school arcade style NBA Street would be amazing right about now.
Former EA developers are currently working on a NBA Street Spirtual Successor called The Run: Got Next. Even if it's good, I'm not sure how an arcade style basketball game would compare and compete with a realistic style basketball simulation game.
Wish you took a more deeper dive into myteam. Since the all star break they’ve dropped these “100
Overall cards”, Invincible cards, and Goat that all have 99 stats and are the same card. These cards are only available via packs and can’t be bought without gambling. All the Galaxy Opals and Dark Matters were also only available via gambling until a certain point. It’s the most predatory game mode I’ve personally ever seen in a video game
Love your honest and unbiased opinions!
Gameplay definitely changed and you could tell in 2k24 just how great pro play is, and it SHOULD BE IN MADDEN. It would fix a lot of issues that the frostbite engine struggles with and bring real and authentic animation rather than just paying an actor.
madden JUST added realistic running styles for certain players lmfao
2K needs a legitimate competitor. Until then expect year after year of low effort micro transactions
I get 2k now every year around this time when the game is on sale for $6. Not paying $70 for 2k again.
74$ bro in total
Nope not going to buy it either with the stupid micro transactions bull shit
Also, I think EA should actually go after the college basketball market. They've done it with CFB 25, now they can do it with CBB. I think that would be a good competitor with 2K.
Especially with the women's game gaining traction. Put Both genders in and let the gamers go wild
The most fun I've ever had is playing nba 2k24 my era..started in the early 80s
