Awesome footage Luke. Great to see Nina riding in the captain's seat. I like the cowboy hat. It looks great on you and provides a bit of shade. Glad you stayed a piece away from that buzzing reptile!
Those rafts are so awesome! I'm glad you were able to bring the drone and get some footage too. It really add to the perspective of the canyons😍 It's cool to see the abandoned house. I see it's inhabited by a family🦉🦉🦉 This is such a fantastic trip😁 Thanks for taking us along, Luke😀
What a cool adventure! You got a little bit of everything- beautiful scenery and sunsets, adventure, desert wildlife, hot springs, etc. glad you had a good time!
That was amazing Luke. I can’t wait to get back to Oregon. It’s my favorite place I have ever been in the US. Such diverse landscapes all across the state. Thanks for sharing this adventure with us!
Yee Haw. Adventure content doesn’t get better than this baby. Damn look at those epic landscape flyovers and POV rafting shots. Everyone like, share, and subscribe - lets get this thing to 1 million views!
Nice adventure. Is 50 miles in 5 days a normal pace for river rafting, or did you take your time? Also curious why you used packrafts instead of something bigger and more durable -- I'd be worried about puncturing them.
We had extra time to enjoy it, the pace wasn't too rushed and we could have reached the take out in 4 days. Several reasons we used packrafts, 1 - we have packrafts, and not large river rafts 2 - I've never paddled an oar boat in whitewater before 3 - packrafts are extremely durable, can take a lot of abuse without puncturing, and also are straightforward to fix.
Great video! What dates did you float? I was down there around the same time I bet. Solo kayak trip. but I lost my go pro at dog leg rapid after I flipped!! I had some great footage too :( At least I get to see yours!
She loved it, relaxed and chill on the raft, and lots of water to swim in at every camp. She even goaded our camp neighbours into her game and they threw a stick for hours.

@lifeofluke do you put anything in the bottom of the raft to protect it from Nina's nails?
@@nanchesca3950 nothing. The rafts are extremely durable and in addition Nina's nails are sufficiently rounded from regular exercise.

Beautiful video Luke and Nina.!:)
Please tell me what company your kayaks are? Thank you.
They are all made by Alpackaraft.
Looks really cool out there , looks nice and chill.
I do enjoy the longer episodes. Good job team.
I appreciate that, I like to make longer videos, if the subject calls for it.
Epic adventure!!! Thanks for sharing your journey!
Thanks Mackie!
Thanks for the adventure. Such a contrast from east Kootenay b.c.
Thanks for watching, yeah it's addictive to visit new places and see what's out there.
I was out there when it was 3100 cfs just a few days before you. Isnt it a great stretch of water?!
Such a great time, my first experience of the Owyhee and I gotta go back - maybe the middle next time. 3100 must have been a fun flow.
Nicely done. How'd Nina handle it?
She loved it, relaxed and chill on the raft, and lots of water to swim in at every camp. She even goaded our camp neighbours into her game and they threw a stick for hours.
@@lifeofluke ahah love it. Paradise for her. water + stick - what more do you need
As always, great work
Thanks!
Those owls were a hoot!
Looks like a blast
