These artists are the ones who established the Pakistani Movie Industry, they chose to come to Pakistan leaving the glamour of Bombay to lighten up the dark studios of Lahore; they were Santosh Kumar, Darpan, Himaliya Wala, Ratan Kumar, and our Queen with her husband Mr. Rizvi. Almost all who migrated for our new country scarified a lot, all of them are gone today, a few like me who also came to Pakistan as a child saw those days when Lahore was our Bombay or Hollywood. I wonder how many from today's generation remember them and once in a while take a trip to the memory lane. Good bye.

Child star Rattan first had his hit role in Jaguriti in Bombay in the 1950s, and he came over to Lahore later on, where his family re-made the same movie, starring Santosh and Rattan, under the title Bedari. Rattan then assayed a couple of roles as a grown-up, but the magic was gone.

Yes simple meaning is what you said. According to hindu mythology, there are four yugs which keep on repeating the cycle (satyug, tretayug, dwaparyug and kalyug). After the last yug i. e kalyug there is deluge and again start of satyug. Kalyg is the present one going on. This is the yug when all EVIL forces on this earth are at its prime and zenith. Almost everone, even if not involved, is engulfed or surrounded by the fire of bad deeds (from heart, words and deeds). So the songs says "tujh sa nahin koi yug mein". Meaning world is filled with evil people, but you are not.

The first one jug is the colloquial used in Punjabi, hindi and other undivided Indian laguages for YUG (example jug jug jiyo beta). Of course word "jag" means world in hindi and - aalam in urdu. Alphabet "u" in jug stands for sound geem + nukta+gaaf. And alphabet "a" in jag is for jeem + gaaf in urdu ( example tumsa nahin koi jag mein) I don't know whether I have been able to clarify, as my knowledge of Urdu is of alphabets only. Wish I could explain in Hindi alphabets. My idea is not to impose any religious, spiritual or philosophical wisdom. I liked the song and just came across your comments on it.
