I love the show and I actually intended to watch it on the first night it dropped but I was busy, so I ended up watching it three days ago, and it was so good I watched it in one setting. The set was amazing, I felt like I was watching a movie because the buildings like Morpheus' home and hell were enormous. I also love the interaction between the endless characters. For example, the interaction with Death and Dream where she asks Dream why people fear entering the realm of death but yet they happily enter the realms of dream willing every night. As a mortal I can answer that question, first things first we are not aware we have entered that realm and most people cannot retain their dreams when they wake up. I can't tell you how many times I have had a dream and by lunchtime, I have forgotten what the dream was about. Only in extreme cases can I remember the dream. The second is unlike the realms of dreams you can't come back and there is also the possibility of going down instead of up. I also love watching fantasy shows or films like Sandman where hell is depicted to the audience but not to people in that universe, and you witness the people of that universe doing terrible things not knowing that hell exists and that is where they will end up. To put that in the context of Sandman and I try to do it without revealing any spoilers. There was a convention held every year like Comic-con except where Comic-con is all about dressing up as your favorite character and you get to meet and interact with other fans as well as the actors. I found that scene funny, hell the entire convention was funny, a convention organized by serial killers for serial killers, and let not forget the guest speaker who himself has been killing for a hundred and thirty years and his empowering speech which had the other killers clapping lol. I remember thinking don't you know that you are all going to hell because unlike this world we know that hell really does exist in the world of the Sandman? @@pjdougherty6442 I personally would prefer an adaptation like The Boys, borrowing things but not copy pasting it. Would make it far more exciting and unpredictable.
@@MB-gb5pv That could work too.
Personally I haven’t read the original comics of Doom Patrol, for example, but I loved the show, which apparently borrowed elements from a bunch of different versions of the Doom Patrol in the comics while still having it’s own identity.
What I nice surprise! I havnt seen the hostess Falicia Day sense Red Werewolf Hunter! I loved that movie it’s great for what it was…
Finally, after so many years!🥳 it'll be legen...dary!
Please be good!!! So much crap on Netflix. We need something with real creativity and INTELLIGENCE! Too much violence and sex is LAZY WRITING!
i enjoy it
Er, if you’re looking to avoid sex and violence completely, Sandman is also not for you.
love all
SUBTITULOS EN ESPAÑOL POR FAVOR.
Neil Gaiman is the Sandman
Fingers still crossed that they fix Dream's eyes and that the show is awesome 🤞🤞
Neil has said that Dream will have his comic-accurate eyes when it matters most.
love Jenna coleman very much 😘😉
Finally, someone pronouncing "Constantine" correctly.
Soon ...
CHARLIE BRADBURY HOSTS THIS???
Edit: Uhhh….why are the comments on here older than the video itself???
My stepdad always described my family as dysfunctional. I always wondered what a functional family looked like.
This will probably not be it. One of the brothers (Destruction) left ffs. The Endless are quite dysfunctional.
@@gateauxq4604 I know, lol.
I was commenting on when Neil brought up people calling the Endless a dysfunctional family.
He’d never heard that term and when he had it described he said “so you mean ‘a family’?”
I agree with him because I’ve never seen a family that wasn’t dysfunctional on some level.
I see the author representing us queens😘
I wish that Vivienne played a beautiful woman character, like she is! I cannot for the life of my understand why a White man or White non-binary person didn’t just play Lucian the librarian! As as BW, it doesn’t make sense to me, short hair/bald and Black doesn’t automatically mean masculine. She’s so pretty. Reminds me of Dune, that pissed me off too, even though I loved the movie.
@@onlygood222 true but the other black actresses in this series and startrek play femininity characters. As a darkskin black woman I'm trying to look at the positive side that atleast we finally having doors open for us and eventually we will have even more femininity roles like the new Jurassic park movie. It's a lot of people that only want to see darkskin women in masculine and ugly roles but there are more positive femininity roles also. Can't stay negative
BYEEEE This whole time I thought the girl playing Lucienne was Cynthia Erivo😭😭😭
Three decades ago?! I'm that old?!
Mark bernardon has me fired up to see this
