I usually like puzzles in a game but in this game the puzzles were brutally difficult. 9 people out of 10 would have never figured this out
I didn't know what the buttons up there were for so I just went back and forth putting the purple battery in and out of the last slot until each lined up; this one they definitely could have set up better in terms of helping the player figure out how to do it without brute forcing it
I was going crazy with this one because I didn't know you could throw those pink containers lol it was doing my head in but as soon as you threw it into its slot from so far away I knew instantly what I had to do everywhere else
I was busy locating the Celestial Guardians in the Northwest, Southwest and Southeast but neglected about this hard puzzle at first.
Thanks for the help.
Thank you for uploading and for voicing this!
For all of you struggling (I couldn't get high enough on the third puzzle here), simply clear the area directly west of here. You will gain an ability to warp to your chakram, and it makes these much easier. I'm convinced that was the original intended solution for the third puzzle, as otherwise you can't really see what you are throwing it into.
This is WAY easier than how the video shows it. Great tip!
Thank you for knocking this one out for us🤓👍
Great video. Thank you so much! Greetings from Cozumel, México 😊
In game instructions were unclear, I spent longer than I'd like to admit trying to get myself through the gates instead of the batteries. I was ready to give up thinking I needed another upgrade to get it done 😂
I skipped those rooms with the emblem puzzles with Chackram Teleport at the top, and then just dropped down and threw the emblems at the top. This was quite fast.
Thank you so much ❤
Third one is bugged for me,i literally cant jump on those grey wall things, i just pass through them, great,i cant continue....20 hours down the drain
I had the exact same problem. Just reload the game and see if it is auto activated. Because after i activated the other 2 and loaded the game, the red one on the centre was working...
Appreciate you. Thanks
A big help ty 👏 👍
I would've never thought to throw the battery, but it's a good puzzle. The only one I really thought was stupid so far was the one with the statue on the other side of the map.
The play forming is NUTS on this. I never think that intensely about how to string together my abilities so I get stuck GOOD LORD
Thanks, bro.
Thanks bro
I'm subscribing to you for help. Thsnks🎉🎉🎉😂😂
Puzzles are a piece of cake compared to what you have to figure out to open some of the mystery chests...
Would you consider this a masterpiece?
I would. It’ll get hated on because it’s not Indie. But that’s just haterade. But it’s definitely on the Mount Rushmore of Metroidvanias.
It is, the levels are incredibly clever
I would, its very rare a game can keep me this interested these days. I’m not getting bored with this one at all. Game keeps it fresh and exploration is a blast.
Never played any Metroidvanias until this one and I'm thoroughly enjoying myself. Definitely gonna play through oni after this bcuz I was told it was sort of similar. Among other games that are like this genre
@@johncarpenter5349 Welcome to the genre! Might I suggest a few games? If you have a Switch; you should really give Metroid: Dread a try. Especially if you’ve liked PoP. It’s METROIDvania for a reason.
Ori & The Blind Forest then play Ori The Will of the Wisps. WotW is unanimously considered the better of the two. But they’re both phenomenal and the story continues immediately from BF into WotW. It’s an experience.
Blasphemous 1 and 2 are also two of my favorites. Also a story that continues from B1 to B2. The lore can be bit vague, but awesome games. Challenging. But awesome. B2 is more of a traditional Metroidvania than B1. It’s also a modern pixel art game. The retro look had me hesitant to jump into it. But gameplay is smooth like PoP. And if you like a more mature rated game, look no further.
Lastly, the crown jewel of Metroidvania - Hollow Knight. HK is the genre perfected. IMO. It’s a massive game. And because it’s so big, it can tend to drag at the beginning for new comers. But if you stick it out, there isn’t another game that offers such a rich, challenging and detailed experience.
Honorable Mentions: Islets. And Ender Lilies. Two great MV games. The sequel to EL, Ender Magnolia is also coming out this year.
Keep an eye out for the HK sequel, Hollow Knight: Silksong. Who knows when it will release but the trailer looks insane. Crowsworn is another the people are excited for. I’m also excited for Neon Moon. And coming next month is: Tales of Kenzera: Zau. It looks a lot like PoP.
One piece of advice when venturing into Metroidvania. Give a game 2-3 bosses, upgrades and/or abilities. Often they’ll be the same thing. Beating a boss will reward you with an upgrade. But not always. Exploration also rewards players. Exploring is a core part of the genre. So if you get into a game and it doesn’t immediately blow you away. Give it a little time. There are hundreds of Metroidvania’s out there. And a lot of them are works of art. Each one is different than the next. From PoP to HK to Ori and Metroid Dread. All unique experiences and art styles but same vibe. I know this is a crazy long comment. But I wish I had known this genre was out there. And there are lots more. Obviously you could go Super Metroid or Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Those two titles are literally “Metroidvania”. But if you’re getting into the genre now, and you enjoyed PoP. I’d suggest the more modern games I mentioned above. But I had to pay my respects to the OG’s.
I'm sick of these puzzles man, thank you, I just want to finish this game
Hey dude, love your videos. Thank you for the help. Quick question, could I log into someone else's PS4 to download or, upload my Spiderman 2018 PS4 game save to my PS5..? Reason being, I want to buy Spiderman Remastered PS5 so I can pop all the trophies but, my PS4 is in another country and I can't access it.. is it possible.? My godson still uses his PS4 and I'm wondering if I can log into his to do the transfer 🤔
Thank god for UA-cam … I absolutely love this game but some of this shit is getting way too big brain for me lol
On the second one the battery is phasing through the wall … I hope I’m not fucking screwed
In the first part of the video, the item does not appear for me
Not so hard in the end! I figured it out with a clue of throwing the battery. Much worse are the traps' passages.
0:36 this specific timing is literally impossible on the switch. Even with the chakram teleport ability from menolias fight, it’s still too fast and the controller is just too slow to throw the battery right after grabbing it
I just finished it and it's not impossible.
I threw a teleport above the battery. Teleported to it, hit the battery and then immediately threw it straight up..worked like a charm
One of the pink things is in the doorway and the game won't let me grab it
How do get the bird?
This is bs. It won’t let me do the first one. By the time I teleport the gates always closed
You gave to make sure your clone is as high as you can get it. I had a couple failed attempts of the gate shutting right before my clone can get it though the gate.
Damn that helped allot thanks for the help im gonna subscribe ty for the tips
That first room was just stupid.
Where the hell yall get this bird from
It's a dlc, and you equip it at the amulets
Yep and it's really handy to have to be fair. There is a side quest for the pirate captain that might give you it, I can't say for sure as it's a pretty tricky wall jumping section that I haven't quite managed to get back to the start point with the bird yet. But it sure looks like the same bird.
It's from pre ordering the game. It can also be bought separately
At at a point in the game where I'm just sick of these puzzles already. Taking the enjoyment out of the game for me.
I thought i was like the only one, i rage quited because of that puzzle where your timed on this one part where you have to jump on some playforms. Other than these annoying parts i did like the game
@@solidwisdom8749im just about to give up too. I just can’t get the timing right at 0:36 and there’s no way to increase controller sensitivity because im doing exactly what he did but it’s all too slow
I agree with all of you they did not space out the puzzles at all, just chuck a bunch of hard ones at the end of the game
For me they're pretty easy to do. But I can understand your point
I can’t stand puzzles either
Damm i hate too Mutch puzzle i Prefer the older Pop parts from the ps2 era
Sadly once you reach this stage you realise there are more puzzles and environmental traps compared to combat itself
@@ANOblkstrMALY yea right bro
Lol dum dums
Yep... This puzzles are shit, great game but this...no
