Like I mentioned before. Amazon does not want us to use our own minds to operate our own devices. It's time for some changes.
Oh my. Turn off the option to off load it. Using the old "your going to lose your 3rd party apps" is click bait.
I have automatic offload turned off but Amazon have still removed some of my apps! I hardly use my Firestick now as I'm fed up with Amazon doing this and things like disabling ADB. I now mainly use an ONN Box.
Amazon has sideloaded a bunch of apps they say I haven't used recently (but used pretty much everyday) Like you I am seriously thinking about moving to ONN! getting fed up with their games!
As others have said have automatic offload turned off. I don't want Amazon telling me what apps I want to use. And keep a decent buffer of at least 1.5gb free space to avoid issues.

I’ve noticed a lot instabilities on some of my applications with a lot of crashing and saying the app are not found until I do a restart. They UA-cam app becomes so bloated it will not stream
I have offload turned off
Try regularly deleting the cache from each app - Settings, My Fire TV, Apps, Manage Installed Applications, select an app, press the rewind button, then press Select. Next, press back and tab down to the next app and repeat the process till you've deleted the cache from every app. Then keep pressing the back button till you are back on Home Screen.
@@andypryce1984 i tried that as well as force stoping the apps. Only way to get things bto work is to go through the restart
I've deleted an number of apks as well as local UK tv since the fire stick being continuous to get updates. An eating up storage . If this continues I won't have any space left to be able to use it. Yes I could reformat it but can't due to an app I have . I want to keep till it runs out..

@@Swiftness0427 you can with most of them, not the app store. The problem when you use that Debloat App, is the data and cache keep building and building and you have no way to check it to see how full it is.
Look at how much room you have total in the beginning and then delete those Amazon apps and see if it took off the total application size and if it goes up or remains the same.
Is there a reason y u haven't changed 2 another system?
if you see my other videos you will notice that I also have an onn 4K box, and an o n n box that I use on my TVs.
@@cwtek1 I was curious i the ONN devices are able to interface with the Amazon Fire Recast device. I picked up a Recast, and while it does NOT live up to what Amazon claimed, there are some positive aspects of it. I was curious if the ONN would allow me to keep it.

Clickbait title you could have just told people to turn the offload feature off.
Also you're not doing anyone any favors by having them access their apps this way where you don't know which ones are running in the background. Doing it this way also doesn't allow the person to see how much storage is being taken up.
You should always access your apps by going to the Gear or emoji and clicking down to Applications.
Then manage applications so you can see how much space you have and then you can check each app.
The app, Background Apps and Processors, will let you know which apps are running in the background so you can force close them.
Look at the apps he has installed. They're almost Amazon apps, so they can't be taken off.
Amazon purchased MX player, that's why people were switching to VLC.
I use VLC for BeeTV and Cinema HD and I've never had that screen pop up or have any problems with VLC and I just installed it a couple weeks ago.
