This is literally the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen. People see metalheads as scary but they are actually really nice.

It's really heartwarming to see how good Ivan is with kids tbh
It probably helps fill the void of him not being with his son when going on tour.

He has a lot.. LOT of demons. But always has a good heart and for the most part an extremely decent human being. Great with kids is an understatement. I think he’s a good guy, just had a rough life and is trying to rebuild the shattered parts. Which we all have to some degree. He’s inspiring in his own way.
People completely missjudge Heavy Metal and Metalheads in general. See just how caring they were in this video? I don't know of any pop artist who has done this to their younger fans like they have done here.
Genuinely amazing people. Judged by their music and looks.
I LOVE these guys. They have such amazing hearts and do so much for their fans,our military and our vets. I'm proud to be a Knucklehead.
People judge Ivan because if his look and his pissed off attitude but if dumb asses wouldn't provoke him he would never be that way
thats because these are REAL artists that know to share wit htheir fans and know that these kids will remember this forever. i took my oldest son to a 5fdp consert a couble of years ago and he still talks about it like it was yesterday.
Allof the metalheads I know are the kindest, most humble individuals you know. A lot of them wear suits during the day and throw horns at night.
I don't care what anyone says 5 finger is an alaround bad ass band

The reasons that Ivan is such a good guy and that everyone else in this video is so cheerful and happy is cause we are a community and everyone that doesn’t know us for us judges who we are.

Liam McKeever I’ve seen videos where he’s signing autographs and yells at his own security team for cutting off the line. He said he doesn’t care if he’s there till 4am signing if a fan wants his autograph his gonna give it to them and with the same enthusiasm that he gave the first one of the night
I seen them back in 2014 when ivan was going through whatever he was and he pulled all the kids on stage because they are the next generation of this music genre. Hes a great guy

Ever since he got out of rehab, dude's classy as hell.
When I saw FFDP I was amazed how many small children were there. When they were asked to be on stage and knew the lyrics to the song I was blown away.
Been to hundreds of concerts and this is the first time I've seen this happen. Fucking amazing. All new respect for them.
And people say Ivan is no good. He has a very large heart and supports us troops so my hats off to the guy!
I've seen the band multiple times and this is a regular thing that Ivan does. He remembers who got him to where he is today, his fans. These are his current and future fans. Glad to see him doing so well sober.
Everytime I see a video of him doing this, as a father, I cry like a bitch. There needs to be more ppl like Ivan in the world.... it would be a far better place

This band stole the show! Bad Wolves, Nothing More and Breaking Benjamin were the other bands playing, but 5FDP blew them all out of the water! I've always liked what I heard from them on the radio, but I never really looked into them until now. I'm trying to learn more about them and from what I've found out, this band is a classic case of "you can't judge a book by its cover". Presence, power, authority, are just some of the characteristics that these guys have, but the biggest one has to be HEART! What they stand for, what they support, what they bring attention to and what they've gone thru and are able to overcome and conquer... has earned them yet another big fan. I know I'm late coming to the party, but at the age of 48, I'm glad that I have an open mind to experience "new" music. I bought one of their CD' s at the show (my first of theirs) and will be buying more. In two days, I think I've listened to it over a dozen times! I'll be looking for you guys on the next tour!!! Thank you for all you have done!
John Upp Breaking Benjamin earned their headliner title that night too. Both bands are amazing
Nothing More will headline them all in the near future.
Saw them in Boston a few weeks ago. Breaking Benjamin definitely had a better set. They threw in like 3 or 4 throwback covers.

My favorite part of the concert is when they bring the kids up on stage, and Ivan gives them all sorts of gifts. Such a cool moment.
You can tell that his music and fans are the only things he truly loves in this world. Within his lyrics lies disdain and apathy towards both his family and society, but one thing that he always expresses his deepest gratitude and appreciation for is his fans. For a man to suffer as he has, descended to the depths of depression and addiction, to be able to love his fans as much as he does is absolutely astounding.

I'm a single mother of three boys. I snuck my baby at 17 into his first metal concert in a 18 and over venue. They asked if he had any weapons and he gave up his pocket knife. When the concert started I had the honor of stringing his fingers thru mine and I dragged my baby to the corner of the stage and told him if he didn't bang his head, he was grounded. End of show on the way out he went to security and asked for his knife back. He planted his feet politely and said IM NOT LEAVING WITHOUT MY KNIFE MA'AM. The security guard had such respect that they took us backstage and we had tacos with the band. EPIC MOMMY MEMORY. He is grown now.
That was totally awesome, jeez I wish I was a little kid on stage.

I was hooked when I heard them on the radio. I looked them up and saw the video of "Sham-Pain" then it went to "Wash it all away" and I don't how to describe it. It shows their patriotism in the lyrics and videos that support the troops that fight to give them the right to fight truth to power. That, and they just fucken rock!!
