I am currently staying in the US for my master's degree but I am originally from Essen. Since I am kinda homesick this video really made my day and helped me to remember my hometown and made me feel good again.
Essen war für mich immer die Stadt der Städte. Ich war so gerne dort hab mich wohl gefühlt und liebte diese Stadt. In den letzten Jahren ist dort sehr viel passiert. Und ich fahre nicht mehr hin. Aber trotzdem allem bleibt mir Essen mit all seinen schönen Zeiten in guter Erinnerung

Ich fahre zwar nicht mehr so oft dorthin (die Anfahrt ist auch zu weit) aber wenn ich dann mal da bin, liebe ich Essen nach wie vor. Sie bleibt in meinem Herzen für immer verankert. ❤️
It's amazing how walkable European cities are. There aren't any American cities like this. It always blows my mind when I hear about Europeans wanting to come to the US.

Eine städtebauliche Perle war diese im Krieg von über 200 Terrorangriffen zerstörte Stadt ja nie. Trotzdem schön, einmal wieder durch Essen (mit-)zu gehen, wo ich in den 1960er Jahren meine Kindheit verlebt habe
Hier ist ja gar nichts los im Vergleich zu Stuttgart oder München. Auch so wenig Touristen aus Fernost, ein ganz ungewöhnliches Bild im Vergleich. Interessante Eindrücke.
Man kann auch München nicht mit Essen vergleichen. Historisch,Kulturell und Wirtschaftlich nicht. Genau so wie Stuttgart.Stuttgart zieht schon allein durch Mercedes und Porsche mehr Leute an als andere Städte
@@saaddawod1462 Ich habe in München eigentlich nur positive Erfahrungen gemacht. Ganz anders als in Stuttgart. Mal schauen in ein paar Wochen gehe ich nach Essen und das hört sich ja schon mal gut an, dass die Leute dort freundlich sind :D
@@camila3110 I was silly. It's nice city. A lot of green etc. I thought that it is ugly city because I have been in ugly place in Essen but I didn't know that Essen is a big and good City. So that was silly opinion haha
How subtly yet dramatically there’s a change in terms of language,architecture & vegetation in the European countries. But one can still perceive a thread of commonality among them. Such videos, I feel, help in knowing, learning & appreciating diversities that eventually make us more tolerant. Keep travelling and keep giving us glimpses of the world :)

@Ryan a The hole western state of NRW (Northrhine-Westphalia) is basically Germanys sh*hole (+Frankfurt area and Berlin). If you want to expericence the "real Germany" go to Bavaria, Saxony or the Baltic Sea towns.

I've only been interested in going to Savannah. So many great walkable cities including Edinburgh Scotland. I would recommend it.
