Please Pastor Begg, instead of retiring could you not just cut your working hours, take more rest times and preach only on the Sabbath and not a daily sermon? I pray that this desire of retiring is not because you are not feeling well, your health is a blessings to us your listeners! I know that you trust the Holy Spirit guidance and if that is His doing, we will have to abide and let it happen and trust the Lord because His will, we pray daily,it is to be done and it will be. Please, let us know if you are going to be involved in some way with us, your church followers. Thank you. In Christian love I ask.
@@olgaburgos7780 He's retiring from the role of lead pastor at Parkside church. He stated he is continuing his work at TFL and other speaking engagements he is led to.
Besides, his WIFE WAS INCLUDED IN THIS DECISION!

I just heard Alistair is resigning September 2025. All the good preachers, true to the Word of God, as dying or resigning. We have no preachers left that will speak the truth and stand by the Word of God. Is God moving His people out of office and all His people out of the way to......just saying, if there is no one to teach the Truth, God cannot hold them liable/responsible for knowing the truth. If we have no preachers, no leaders for the sheep, think it is time to really get that oil for the lamps ready and waiting, the Groom is coming! My favorite Allistair moment (and he probably hates this one but I think it is adorable!) Alistair was on a panel and questions coming in from the audience. The question was about speaking in tongues and Alistair, being young at that time, confused the language and thought she was asking about actually speaking with one's tongue and no one on the panel would help him out (RC, MacArthur) none would help him out and it was funny, all the good ones are gone...God's moving things into place, be ready....

James 5:20 states, "Let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins".
Alastair Begg converted me on 09/01/2024. The Pharisees who are attacking him now will come to naught .
[9] Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, [10] Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
Do the Pharisee also suggest you skip weddings involving alcoholics and divorcees?

@@LeighPettyGoodson following Jesus's example , he spoke in questions too. I think you misunderstood the question though. It's addressed to all those who are speaking blasphemy against the spirit that is upon Mr.Begg. They are posting hateful lies all over the internet.

12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’[a] For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
“Love covers a multitude of sins” (1Peter 4:8).
“Hatred stirs up strife but love covers all sins” (Proverbs 10:12).
It makes no sense to hate and oppress LGbT people and immigrants, and to accept drunkards , gamblers, and adulterers (Pastor Greg Locke) . You are either a Christian who loves one another , as the Samaritan did, or you are not a follower of Christ, but a wolf in sheep's clothing (Locke)
Alistair is a great steward of God's word. But he'd be the first person to tell you he can't convert anyone. Solely the work of God who gives the Holy Spirit. Have a wonderful weekend! 🙏♥️🙏
@@mikemccormick9667you cant invalidate the word of God with the word of God. That is what Satan loves to do. You say then that James 5:20 means nothing then , and I know therefore you are mistaken , for all scripture is profitable.
Timothy says " Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching." But then anyone could say that "all honor is Gods." But the honor that is due to those who labor In teaching is the honor that is God's, for they are one with Christ and One with the Father. one.
From John ," That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us:"
If he did according to his flesh he could do no good, but he does according to the spirit , that is in him , therefore he does the works of the father. When I say Alastair Begg lead me to God , I mean that he did according to the works of his father.

By reading these comments Mr Begg must be leaving. How sad this makes my heart.Hes ao brilliant qnd sometimes i have trouble following him lol but he's a true man of God. He will surely be missed and ik so saddened to hear that hes leaving but we must understand. Hes done his job. He deserves rest. I'm sure he's still going to do whatever hes able to for the Lord. Thank you Mr Begg and God he with you and your family. Thank you for preaching from the Bible.i will miss your humor and the tidbits of music you talk about.
