Personally, I am so thankful for Pastor Begg. He is so gifted in amalgamating the WORD & history. Without knowing our history, we are doomed to repeat it. The greatest impediment to the acquisition of knowledge/understanding is believing we already have it. I thank God for Pastor Begg's bravery in speaking the undeniable but oh so unpopular WORD OF GOD. We as individuals, must also manifest this same bravery in sharing uncompromised TRUTH.

I love to hear a Scottish accent. My grandfather was born in Aberdeen. Reminds me of him.
Since discovering our Scottish ancestry several years ago, I have been even more drawn to Scotland as well as the Scottish accent. My fourth son met a girl from Scotland almost 4 years ago. Now, they are engaged (actually were supposed to be married in Scotland last year but... well, 2020) and he has now been over there 8 times! (I haven't forgiven him for this yet!) It's strange that, as a little girl, I was fascinated by Scotland and felt a draw to it and today, I am in the process of writing a book of fiction where the family is based in Scotland. My one and only son-in-law is named, guess what? Scotland! My family heritage is of the Burnetts of Ley and my son has gotten to visit Crathes Castle which is built on land gifted to them by King Robert the Bruce in the 1300's. My maternal grandmother was a Burnett. I am saddened, however, that Scotland has become so liberal and my understanding is that the church there is very weak. I pray for revival not just for Scotland but for the whole world caught in this evil time. I do believe the days here are short though and wonder how much can really change, but it is an exciting time to live as we anticipate and hasten the Day of the Lord. Thank you, Alistair, for speaking the truth of the Gospel to a world so desperately in need of it! In such a world with so many who preach a false gospel, you are treasured and I pray every day for God to strengthen and encourage you and your family and keep you safe. Please, everyone, pray for the pastors and teachers who dare to preach truth in these times - they need all of our prayers!

Thank you, thank you pastor Begg. I can never say nor adequately thank you, among todays shepherds of Gods Word, who have recently filled my life with a Holy newness of God's message. I grew up as a christian & in my early teen years I wandered very far from the faith as my weak human heart was misled by that evil one, the devil namely Satan and his minions who enticed me into sin against Gods commandments by using my particular weakness' to appear an adventure more pleasing than my 'boring' christian life. Sadly, the foundation of my faith was frail & I had no good example nor an ear for the Holy Spirit & so was terribly lost for many, many years as I searched for love in every wrong place. And so about a year ago I began to hear a small, quiet voice drawing me back to God's Holy message. At that time I was led to discover a tiny handful of inspiring sermons & teachings, among them, Pastor Begg, Pastor Batchelor, Pastor Bohr & Pastor Lomacang. Pastor Begg has been an especially wonderful, inspiring shephard. His interpretation of all subjects Biblical thus far have been filled with amazing insights, a wonderful blessing, of interpretation of God's word.
Same deal here. It was actually listening to Ravi Zacharias that brought me back to God. Unfortunately, his terrible fall from grace rattled my world for a while, but it has been listening to these wonderful men's sermons that have cemented my faith for the homeward journey. I'm an SDA and as much as I like Doug Batchelor, Pastor Begg is the best preacher of them all. I love the way he never waters down the scriptures or dilutes them to fit in with mankind's needs, but just preaches it straight. May God richly bless him in the future.

Pastor, would it matter if the Lord set aside only 1 person on the earth for you to preach to over and over again, with the messages and Word that the Lord declares through you? Would it be more of value if it would tens of 1,000? We live in such times that even the prophets looked forward to---thank you for your faithfulness in declaring the Word even if it were only for one, and I also thank the Lord that you are of sound mind and doctrine, and who can understand the burden of the Cross and its declaration, except that one carrying the burden, many times sustaining babes not able to be nourished with meat. O Lord sustain this man and family during his burdens of feeding the flock, not yet in our glorified bodies, but in this flesh and through the power of your Holy Spirit. And we know Lord, there are yet many who are of the called, who have yet to hear the Gospel and the calling. Daily we look up for our redemption draweth nigh. Even so come Lord Jesus. amen

@Old Bristolian well God says "you shall not murder" with democrats in power any kind of state restrictions on abortion will be lifted by the federal government. Socialism will be ushered in. What if the vaccine does turn out to be the 'mark'? The dems are Already talking about mandating it. I could go on and on with the anti-God, anti-family and anti-faith plans the demoncrats have in mind. So yes it is a great prayer that democrats do not gain the senate majority...especially if the courts don't rule truthfully and Biden is named president. God help us.

God has a plan....and who knows we may be entering the 7 year tribulation soon. God has made many decisions after hearing prayers from his people. Pray does work.

May I inquire about the biblical seventh day sabbath rest? Did God create the seventh day sabbath in the garden of Eden? Why are we reminded in the fourth commandment? Did Jesus honor the seventh day sabbath? Who attempts to change times and laws? Thank you for your attention to this topic.
Hi Patricia - I can hopefully answer your question. Originally, the Sabbath was a day of rest, and that purpose was retained in the Mosaic Law (Exodus 16:23-29; 31:14-16; 35:2-3; Deuteronomy 5:12-15; Nehemiah 13:15-22; Jeremiah 17:21-27). Under the Old Covenant, sacrifices were made daily at the tabernacle/temple. The “worship” was continual. And there were special commands given to Israel regarding a “sacred assembly” held on the Sabbath (Leviticus 23:3; cf. Numbers 28:9). The keeping of the Sabbath was the “sign” of the covenant between Israel and the Lord (Exodus 31:13).
Obviously, with no work being done on the Sabbath day, the Sabbath day would be the ideal day to have organized worship services. However, the New Testament does not command that the Sabbath be the day of worship. The church is not under the Mosaic Law.
The church is under the New Covenant, established by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Bible nowhere describes Christians setting aside the Sabbath day as the day of worship. In fact, in Colossians 2:16-17, Jesus said “Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.”
Traditionally, Christians have held their primary corporate worship services on Sundays, the first day of the week, in celebration of Christ’s resurrection, which occurred on a Sunday (Matthew 28:1; Mark 16:2; Luke 24:1; John 20:1). It is important to understand, though, that Sunday is not the commanded day of corporate worship, either. There is no explicit biblical command that either Saturday or Sunday be the day of worship. Scriptures such as Romans 14:5-6 and Colossians 2:16 give Christians freedom to observe a special day or to observe every day as special. God’s desire is that we worship and serve Him continually, every day, not just on Saturday or Sunday.
Jesus healed a man on the “Sabbath” and the Pharisees scolded Him and acted as if God had created people so that he would have someone to keep the Sabbath, but Jesus clarified that God had given the Sabbath as a gift to the people he had created (Mark 2:27).
Jesus is our Sabbath. I hope this helps. Blessings. ❤️
Our Father has never changed His 7th day sabbath. He said it is to be honoured by His people forever? Are we His people? I certainly hope so. Messiah kept the sabbath too and all the laws. That is why He was the perfect lamb. Sadly the church has been lied to that the laws are done away with. As if our Fathers ways and instructions could ever be done away with. In the millenium He will be coming to teach His laws to the survivors of the trib with His resurrected saints. Praise Yahuah that He is waking His saints up.
Yes , Jesus kept the Sabbath. He is Jewish
And he had to keep the law.
After his suffering and death on the cross, he then became our Sabbath, ( our rest )
That's probably what happened to the priests of the temple with offerings.

And the preachers that keep silent can keep their skirts clean and avoid being hated and lied about by all the other silent ones.
