    Excellent explanation! I already knew about all the equations and their effects on each other, but you summed it up nicely so I could understand how venous return and peripheral resistance results in cardiac shock, thank you!

    Dr, I have a question. Hypertension can also decrease CO. Let's say atherosclerosis, in here peripheral resistance will decrease which eventually turn into reduce O2 tissue perfusion. Can we call that also as a SHOCK? What the difference between shock and ischemia?

      +rea arines Shock is reduced tissue perfusion systemically. Ischaemia is a localised reduction in blood supply.
