the keystone is turning more because it's a -1 turn at 2 speed, where Pure is -1 turn at 3 speed. Faster = more turn, or in other words you'd get the same amount of turn if you throw the keystone at a slower speed, as per the speed rating. My two favorite putters right now. I use Zero Mediums for putting and Opto Pure for some upshots depending on how my grip feels. Love your comparisons- keep up the great work!
Would you mind sharing when you use the Pure and when the Keystone? I’m relatively new to disc golf and been testing a lot of putters. I do like both but I’m unsure if it makes sense to own both or decide on one of them. Id appreciate your feedback.
@steviewonder2492 I’ve mentioned I go back and forth between the Pure and the Keystone. Right now I’ve been on Team Keystone. The reason I like both putters is they are dependable hyzer flip putters. Meaning on the correct hyzer release and arm speed they flip up to flat, and with increased arm speed flip over right. As putters I like them for their straight flight from circle 2 and beyond. I actually go stable putter in the circle and up to about 44’ (Dagger). They both have a good feel in the hand and are dependable (meaning if I get a replacement I can expect it to do similar flights in the same plastic - usually retro/baseline). I also like the Opto (premium plastic) for longer shots as it takes a little more arm speed to straighten). It truly comes down to fieldwork and figuring out exactly what the disc will do for you with repetitions! Hope that helps! Keystone is slightly less stable, slower (speed 2) and easier to straighten/flip.

Great video as always! =) Love the multiple comparisions between plastics and molds at the same place, hope you are not getting tired of the place and "set up", I'm not!
I like these two for throwing off the tee and upshots. They alternate in and out depending on how I’m feeling. I probably stick with the Pure the most.
They are the two of my preferred putters! But my pure approach throws (zero hard) go much more straight. I have also an opto pure, and in fact is more stable of the zero hard. In my keystone throws I succeed in throwing the discs more low than the pures.
Fantastic review again. Do you notice the premium plastic putters having a different shape vs baseline? I have an Opto Warden that is much taller at the wing and domey and I couldn't ever jive with it. Maybe it was a dud?
Thank you prattacaster! I’ve never investigated the differences in the wing, but definitely have noticed some differences in the dome. The Opto Pures have more dome than the other plastics, except the Opto Chameleon KT is flat.
Thanks MSFB4EVER! The two mediums are pretty close. I think the KT moonshine mediums might be just a hair more stable. But in general, like most Pures, good point and shoot hold the angle discs.
I don't have a lot of arm speed (260-280 ft). I throw an air escape 159g for my main driver, use this one for into wind and is fairly stable. I have breakout 158 gram in prime plastic, flies slightly understable and get real good distance but cannot throw it into much headwind. Also have a vandal but it's in prime plastic and it weighs like 173 grams and I don't know if they make a lighter version of that or not. I'm afraid breakout the more I throw it the more I understable it's going to get in prime plastic Was also wondering if you know if do they make that in air lucid I really do like breakout but the more I throw it the more unstable it's going to get. Also have hatchet and I love that disc can get some really good distance on that one but if there's absolutely any wind besides a tailwind I can't hardly throw it cuz I don't exactly know what it's going to do LOL. Just curious how stable the Vandal is and if I can get it in lighter weight thank you for making a video.
@@jammer1mo vandal would he less stable, and the hatchet would be even less stable. They do air in both but it’s not consistently produced. The underworld would be even less stable than both of those. I know there are some air underworlds on the Trilogy Talk website (search air underworld). Other discs I recommend for lower arm speed would be both the Maverick and the River - they are both produced more frequently the other mentioned above! (I think the Breakout was out of production and they made a batch of them recently).
I love seeing the wing comparison. Never stop showing it. It's an underappreciated aspect of disc reviews. 👍
Thank you MindLandeR! Started doing it at the request of a viewer on the more recent reviews! It does tell you a lot about the disc!

@@BeaverBranch Thank you very much for the deatiled explanation. Super helpful! Cheers

Thank you Erik! I’ll fix the numbers at least in the description!
Fantastic review! Answered all of my questions.
I love the keystone for putting. I’ve been using the pure a little bit for throwing lately

Is there a difference in feel between a moonshine zero medium and a regular zero medium?

How about a breakout versus vandal versus escape
I don’t have any Breakouts! I have done Vandal versus Hatchet, and Escape versus Saint! If I get the Breakout, I’ll compare it!
