Wow thank you! I just followed your instructions. This is my first ever GoPro disassemble and it was very easy! With an exception of cutting my finger slightly, which was my mistake (held the saw in a wrong way). Thank you very very much for this!
@@staticmotion1628 Hi thankyou for the answer, i am talking about the black connector that is welded to the mainboard, i suspect mine was already damaged or corroded, because from the video it looks sturdy, but in my case it broke ithout even trying thankyou
Gopro hero 9 problems, hello, We have bought a new battery, now we manage to get it going sometimes, but the message "be sure to use an original gopro battery" pops up. Note that the camera only stays on while its plugged in, if the cable were to be pulled out, it will shut of, it will also turn off if you pull out the battery while its charging, it does not show signs that the battery is being charged either, as neither of the red lights that indicate charging are turned on. We have tried to factory reset it and updating the software. This is a strange problem indeed, and we cant seem to find any help
I did mine the same way before watching the video and its the possible easy way to do open. I am currently working on the SD card error solution on motherboard . Really frustated with the SD format error 🤐
Hi Cristian Do you think you can help me ?? I broke a component from my motherboard .. I can change it but I dont know de value do you have a y picture from the motherboard of a hero9 or maybe you still have it ?? You will save me a lot with this information 🙏🙏 thanks a lot
So you mean.. you saw my video, cried, and then decided that there was no point in punishing anymore gopros. That does make alot of sense. Good video btw ! :)
I use go pro hero 9 but once issues my camre show automatic on this camra camra batton not tach but camra on automatic.what is the problem can you help me anyone
Great tutorial, thank you for effort. Regarding that I have to replace my broken back LCD, would you be so kind to tell me if I remove broken one from the frame and put new one (without frame, what is option to buy from Alixpres or eBay), can I reach two little flat cable connectors on the camera through metal plate (heatsink) behind LCD on the frame to connect flat cables to the camera board, or it is impossible so I have to remove LCD with frame completly? Your reply will help me to decide what to buy and what to do. Thank you very much in advance anyway.
@@staticmotion1628 if you could test it without the back piece that would be sweet! I take the mirror piece off and put it back on the screen, just worked now so curious if it doesn't need it

I will perform the procedure with the hero 10, what do you think?
I think it will be almost the same i I’ve not tried with hero 10 but seems to be very close to 9 as far as hardware goes

can the lens be disassembled? it seems that inside the lens there is a kind of glass ball..and mine looks like the ball is loose..can it be fixed?
as far as I know you can't fix the lens just easier to get a new one
@@staticmotion1628 the problem is..there is no replacement lens for gopro hero 7 black in my country 😞
Hi, could you please tell me where is the charging board and flex assembly?
thanks for your effort

im pretty sure you need that piece thats on the heatsink for the screen to work - the bit that you said was a mirror
I'm not sure so your probably right like I said in the video I'm not using either screen anyway i use my phone to check video and settings

Where to buy GoPro Hero 9 lens and Lcd?
I came here to watch the protective membranes that make the microphones "waterproof" but you never showed.
We need a part II :)

Hello, im in need of some help
thank you!
Oh my goodness, opening it like this is too rough.
They even used a saw, and the gopro casing is damaged. This is not the correct method.
